"I am thrilled and excited to continue with this great organization," Luck said in a statement. "I am thankful to the Irsay family and Mr. Irsay for providing me with this great opportunity and the trust that they've shown in me. I can't wait for this season to start." Thrilled and excited? This guy graduated from Stanford? I hope he's not planning on going into PR when he's done with football If you were my waffle house waitress I would propose to you on facebook and tag your profile so all our friends could see.

Good for Luck.
Now they can't afford anyone else to play with him.

I look forward to re-reading this thread in 10 years. (Will never actually happen.) Luck is a stud. It's the one position you overpay every single time. Are you implying they should have let him go?? Someone would have paid him that or more.

Someone would have paid him that or more. I hope no one was implying that, because you're absolutely right. Other than some expected discreting (there's always someone that feels a given player is overrated), I think most realize this is what he was going to get and that's all there is to it. I have to admit, even though I still hope the Jets don't sign Fitz, seeing that kind of payday for a guy who (while younger) didn't even play as well as Fitz did in '15...I at least have increased understanding for his position in terms of holding out.

For me, the alarming part of this post is not the 87M... How the is Ryan Tannehill on this list? because even a Mediorce QB gives owners a woody like the first time they saw tits ...which in ur case was prolly last night...

Well, I don't. You know you can't compare one year out of their entire careers. Luck got into the playoffs his first three years, getting knocked out by cheating NE twice including the infamous deflategate game. His fourth year he was hurt and played hurt, then missed a bunch of games - hard to compare that to Fitzy's year here, who had the opportunity to get into the playoffs handed to him on a silver platter and blew it big time. LUck has accomplished much more in his short time in the NFL than Fitz has - which is nothing. Can you imagine what he would have done with the players Fitz had to work with and if the Colts actually put some players on the field with him, starting with an OL so he doesn't keep getting the stuffing beat out of him? (And I don't even like him but you're forcing me to say this!!!!)

Someone would have paid him that or more. Pretty much I'd saw my balls off with a rusty butter knife to have Luck as our QB for the next decade. Irsay, Grigson and Pagano are a trio of incompetents who have failed horrendously at supporting their young franchise QB. That OL has been dogshit ever since Luck came into the league and his go-to receiver is T.Y. fucking Hilton. Not like he's ever had much help out of the backfield either (Trent Richardson, Donald Brown, a broken down Frank Gore, etc). And don't even get me started on a defense that has been notoriously soft since the beginning of the Dungy days.

Im sure his great acting in "The Burbs" helped get him that contract. It really is true. Everyone has a doppelgänger. Hahaha. So true, but I always thought he looks more like Andre the Giants skinnier son. Boy is he ugly tho. He should date Lena Dunham.
