VTN, you are a respected poster here...but the above is so reckless in its casual inaccuracy and devoid of any informed knowledge...that its sad..because there are so many doing the same thing across this country on social media. I cant even begin to address the inaccuracies, the falsehoods and assumptions...nor do I care to at this point. Astounding.  Speaking of that I've not seen anywhere the fact you reported that the "passenger" reached for their ID. I did read though that she was cuffed detained separated from her child and jailed until taken home at 3am The original vid was reversed making it appear that the deceased was a passenger. That has since been corrected. It is now being reported that the deceased was a gang-banging robbery suspect with no gun permit and the gun he used in the robberies is visible near his lap in the vid his co-conspirator took...the racist cawp recognized this guy from the intelligence circulated after the robbery. Sometimes it is...what it is...  |

I love hearing white people talk about how unafraid they are when pulled over by the police. Castile was told to give his ID and when he reached for it was shot five times. The police obviously did not frisk Sterling properly, they didn't see a gun, they tackled him to the ground pinned his limbs and then shot him to death. As they started to tackle him he asked what he had done , then he was dead. The deep seeded emotions, plus videos, plus misinformation, are the perfect formula for this. It's maddening because after a certain point it's never about truth anymore. And without truth we will never improve. I don't even talk about these things anywhere but here. It's a complete waste of time. No one wants to know about anything if it doesn't support their "side." It's depressing as hell. |

After I saw what you posted it took me a little while to find it. I haven't seen that info posted anywhere, I guess because it doesn't fit the narrative. i have a feeling that she started filming before the stop and we just haven't seen the whole video yet. It's possible he told the guy he was pulled over for a busted tail light because he didn't want to alert him to the fact that he was a suspect in an armed robbery. I imagine the adrenaline was surging thru the officer after shooting the guy but he was losing his shit a little bit afterwards. |
