Hillary loses this election because of Bernie supporters staying home or voting Green Party. Bank on it. I keep waiting to see who rises up to hijack Bernie's supporters. In my opinion, Bernie let them all down. Ultimately, despite his "outsider" viewpoint, the fact is, Bernie is an insider, who would rather play nice with his establishment democrat colleagues than truly take them on. At every critical juncture he has toed the party line rather than take them on. It all started at the first debate when he said Clinton's emails/server was a non-issue rather than saying, I don't know much about the situation other than that there is yet another investigation associated with the Clintons, and if you want four more years of never-ending investigations, she's perfect for the job. And now it has concluded with him allowing DWS to bask in the glow of completing the DNC's mission of making Hillary the nominee by remaining on as Chair through the convention, rather than saying the he does not speak and will withdraw his endorsement unless DWS is removed immediately and all bets are off if she is hired by Hillary's campaign. People in the movement Bernie started wanted him to fight for them, and IMO he completely let them down. He chose the establishment over them because as far as I can see, he obtained nothing in the way of any concrete concessions to his movement. |

Exactly. And remember Obama promising that his would be the most transparent administration in history and that they would protect whistleblowers? They have done just the opposite. I have my issues with the Snowdens and WikiLeaks of the world but this isn't classified state secrets being posted on the internet. This is just them exposing a corrupt and disingenuous political party. And the worst part is the overwhelming majority of print/tv/social media and academia are not only compliant but they also collude with them. This is not the democratic party of JFK. In fact if he was to give his "ask not what your country could do for you ..." speech today he would probably be booed off the stage at the DNC. One of the biggest issues for Howard has always been free speech. Ironically, the Republicans have become the party of free speech and open ideas. At least comparatively speaking. The Democratic Party has been hijacked by Social Justice Warriors and academics. Its remarkable when you think about it. Speaking at the DNC this week will be a serial philanderer/rapist, an illegal immigrant, mother of man that committed robbery and tried to kill a police officer, and a socialist. And that doesnt even take into account their nominee. |

And whether or not Bernie turns on Clinton, he can't control his supporters - like Trump, he's started a movement.. they will turn on Hillary themselves with or without his blessing. |

Although given she was just booed off the stage at a FL event she might not make it to the Convention stage It's ironic that Clinton supporters are stabbing her in the back (or at least paying lip service) after she manipulated the system to get Clinton nominated. I guess that's what Hillary's statement and promotion of her is all about. "Don't worry Debbie I got your back". |

Trump isnt in cahootz with Putin. He will have a functional relationship with Russia which will be a departure from the last 8 years.
Id rather buddy up with Russia than the Saudis. And there will never be a Putinesque president of the US. We have too many safeguards. Safeguards our current president tries to workaround and has been struct down by the supreme court for.
Hillary is the greater threat to our democracy because she sells influence.

here's the thing. it has been obvious that the dnc is/was in the tank for hillarity. all anyone has to do is look at the leadership of the dnc. you will find they are all clinton cronies. this deal was set back in 2008 and is one of the reasons why hillarity got the sec state job from obozo.
but what this also means is that the ruskies and probably the chinese and all other top flight intelligence agencies have hillarity's emails, even the deleted ones. think about this for a minute. these foreign governments have all of it and this includes the dealings between hillarity and the clinton foundation. and this means that hillarity can and will be subject to blackmail by these countries. if you or i tried to get a security clearance with all of our emails being in the hands of russia or china, there is no way we would get one. hillarity is compromised and can not be trusted with state secrets or expected to carry out state policy untainted from foreign influence. it's that simple.

So now it's the Russians' trying to manipulate American politics. Did Putin write those emails? And I thought Russia was not our geo-political for? I distinctly remember Obama laughing at Romney for even suggesting it. Frankly, if the leaks came from Russia, it is truly ironic that we have to rely on Russia for transparency in our own politics. And, Hillary should be shitting a brick since Assange says they have more and the next leak will ensure her arrest. the message from putin to hillarity is; "by the way, i have all those deleted emails. you know, the ones where you funneled state department funds to your foundation through bogus holding companies in canada and aboroad". the whole point is foreign influence in democrat voting has always been a problem. obozo got tons of election money from foreign entities and not just companies that have US operations. |
