We are less than a month away and since there is absolutely nothing worth watching sports related this time of year, I've delved into the CFB schedule. As usual CFB never disappoints with some nice games during the opening week.
I'd have to say the A+M vs. UCLA game has me the most intrigued. SEC vs. Pac 12.....Rosen vs. Garrett, which looks like the number one pick in 2017 vs. the number one pick in 2018, although Rosen is popping some character concerns as of now.
We also have ND vs. Texas, Clemson vs. Auburn, LSU vs. Wisconsin, and for Paradis we have S. Alabama vs. Miss ST.
Any games you are looking forward too? Any prospects too look out for? Besides RB I think we might have a strong Tackle class this year which the Jets desperately need. As usual I'll be scouting the Oline and that kid from USC Banner is a fucking behemoth....we'll see if it translates to the next level. 6'9" 360 and arms that reach his ankles.

Watched Rosen play against my Huskers in the bowl game last year - man, he looked good.

They actually have a RB that might be dark horse to be drafted in the mid rounds. He'd be firmly on the radar if he was a bigger school. On that note, besides RBs and the QBs (good crop) I haven't gone rummaging through draft bins yet. Clemson will be a spectacle with Mike Williams back this year. Auburn is killing it recruiting at the moment, but they're a couple years away i think from being part of "that" conversation.

I assume you are talking about the QB, Eason. I just hope he beats out Greyson Lambert -- we aren't winning many big games if Lambert is under center. I know that Kirby Smart stole a couple of guys that Saban was recruiting which was fun to read about in the offseason. Thnking about making the drive to Missouri next month for the UGA-Mizzou game. Been too long since I have seen the Dawgs play live.

I assume you are talking about the QB, Eason. Yup....5 star recruit who I believe was the most coveted in the nation.

Clemson has fielded some pretty dynamic offenses over the last 7 or so years, but this year should be the most explosive. If all stay healthy and out of trouble this will be fun to watch. With both Williams and Cain outside and Scott and Renfrow inside, Gallman and Feaster at RB, DW at QB, I'm not sure how you defend this team.

One more day and the CFB season kicks off with HI and Cal and I'm more than likely going to miss at least the first half. Anyone else pumped up for the first real football action since last years Senior Bowl?

Anyone else pumped up for the first real football action since last years Senior Bowl? I am looking forward to the game tonight. See what Davis Webb can do in the post Jared Goff era. Also, Cal has a couple of freshman WRs that were among the top WR recruits in the country -- I am curious to see what they can do. Real football again, after almost 7 months. I will be watching.

He also throws a pretty nice ball and has pretty good placement in my opinion. Holy shit tho his pump fakes are atrocious tho. They're like full body pumps and look awkward. He did one early in the game and I was like wtf and he just did it on that TD pass.
