First time I have watched them this year. Not impressed with Browning, but John Ross looks like the real deal--I can see why he is being talked up as a potential first rounder.

I hate Zach Banner but I would absolutely use a fourth or fifth on him. Typical sky is the limit prospect because of his size.

Interesting day of football. I only had to time to pvr and watch Clemson/Pitt.. wow. Followed by WSH and MI? Talk about a shake up. That's gonna launch the cardinals back into the picture.

UL needs Clemson to lose another game before the ACC Championship game. If CU wins out and wins the ACCCG they will be in and UL left out. Despote throwing for an ACC record 580 yards Watson actually played a horrible game. The next time someone mentions him as some elite top 5 QB prospect they need to be kicked in the nuts. When he is asked to make decisions (which isn't a lot in Clemson's offense) he struggles. He is great at throwing at a pre snap predetermined receiver, but when asked to read what the defense is doing he is abysmal. He is also similar to Tajh Boyd in that his short and intermediate accuracy is terrible. He throws a really nice deep ball but his ball placement on slants and in routes isn't good. Anyway, with the Michigan and Washinton losses it's still right there for CU to get back to the playoffs.

Yup, I still see you guys in the top 4 and in control of your destiny thanks to the win against Louisville: 1. Alabama 2. Ohio State 3. Clemson 4. Louisville I think Louisville will be 3 or 4 on Tuesday, but as you said, they will need help to get to the playoffs. Yesterday may have opened up a spot for Big 12 (Okla/WV/OK State).

I was on the fence before the season with Watson, and this year has been unequivocal in my eyes. Great college QB - not a chance in the pros. I don't know the math and theory behind ranking teams, and how much the ACC championship game impacts the playoff seeding, but UL has only lost to clemson, while clemson has only lost to an unranked team. Given how dominant UL has played vs how many times clemson has stolen a W late in the game - I feel like UL only has to win out regardless of ACC CG implications. AB OSU UL CLEM

AB OSU UL CLEM The committee places emphasis on conference champions. Since they have to play an extra game a one loss conference champ is going to get the nod over a another one loss team in the same conference, especially if that other one loss team doesn't reach their conference championship game. Now where UL has a chance is because OSU or Michigan will have at least two losses, the rest of the SEC besides Bama will have two losses, so the debate will be if a two loss Michigan or OSU gets in ahead of a one loss Louisville. Your predictions above may very well be the way this ends.

ACC championship or not, feels like it would be tough to keep UL out of the playoffs with all the 1 loss teams in the race. The Ohio Michigan game next week thankfully appears to take a lot of the guess work out it tho. How about that James Connor

The Ohio Michigan game next week thankfully appears to take a lot of the guess work out it tho. It only brings clarity of Michigan wins. If Ohio State and Penn State both win out, Penn State plays for the Big 10 Championship due to the head to head tiebreaker. Could be in a situation similar to Louisville, two very good teams, arguably top 4 in the country who don't get to play in the conference championship game. Is there a spot in the playoff for either or both?

Ed Oliver the Dlineman from Houston is going to be special. A true freshman and he is already a monster.

Ed Oliver the Dlineman from Houston is going to be special. A true freshman and he is already a monster. How does that Houston team lose games to Navy and SMU. The two times I have seen them this year they have dominated title contenders Oklahoma and Louisville. And yes, Ed Oliver is a monster. He and the rest of the Houston front 7 took over that game -- although he did get hurt right after you posted about him. The curse of RobR?

Cursed fans following a cursed team. Maybe we deserve the Jets....kinda like when you changed your avatar a couple of years ago and down goes Gurley. All kidding aside I initially thought he was just cramping but then the ice bag came out, hope the kid is OK, he seems to be a bit of a personality also.

kinda like when you changed your avatar a couple of years ago and down goes Gurley Yup. I also changed it to Nick Chubb last year the week before he blew his knee out. Maybe I should just change it to Cappy.
