After watching just a small glimpse of him I doubt he'll ever be a NT at the next level....total waste of his skills. Think a better version of Donald or Richardson. Kid moved like a 220lb. linebacker and he's only 18 yo. Richardson I'll believe, but damn Donald? I've never seen a DT penetrate like he does. I don't put any weight in highlights, but I remember Donald's senior highlights being 17min long. That's how often he was in the backfield. It was unreal.

We should never mention players we want or hate. My hate list had our first two picks on it. Opinions in this forum are always encouraged, never frowned upon, and the best aspect is they are never taken personally.....at least until about 2 weeks before the draft. I just meant we jinx it haha. We talk about who we like and none of us get any of them. I think Jordan Jenkins was the first one all of us liked.

Mike Williams is physically dominating, but couldnt come down with a tough catch, fumbled, and then dropped a TD.
Would like to see more from him.

He's a true freshman and I remember him peeling from the NT position and covering receivers, effectively, at 300lbs. I didn't scout him or watch every play but he definitely stood out.

Hopefully it's just rust, but if I remember correctly he had a problem coming down with jump balls before the injury.

How about Nick Chubb. 32-222 and 2 TDs in his first game back after destroying his knee last year. Who cares if the SEC had a rough day -- nice win for the Dawgs. 33-24 over Carolina. Freshman QB Jacob Eason looked good in limited action. Making his case as the best RB in college football. I need to watch more of him. Just one game, but it looks like Smart will give him the workload to put up huge numbers. 32 carries today. Richt took more of a RB by committee approach. Maybe the workload will lessen when Sony Michel gets healthy. Also didn't help that his back-up, Brendan Douglas, lost a fumble early on in the red zone.

Also The U 70-3. I know it's Florida A&M but what a great way to kick off the Richt era. I might have to fly down for the game vs FSU on Oct 8th. I think Richt will be a great fit for you guys. As great a recruiter as he is -- with all the talent in South Florida. I am hoping he can still help out the Dawgs by stealing some talent from the Gators. I may fly down for the Jet - Phins game in November and try to catch Miami-Pitt the Saturday before.

I think I'll be living in FL by then but if not I was going to fly down with some friends for the Jets - Phins game. And I was just talking about catching the Miami - Pitt game with my other Jets/Canes fan friend. If I go we'll all be tailgating so you and whoever will be welcome to join us.

Just waiting to hear from my friend to let me know if he can make it. I will let you know. If so, that will be 3 road trips for me this year: KC, Arizona and Miami.
