I do support his right to protest whatever he wants no matter how misguided I feel his anger is. And I do wonder if Jeff Fisher's speech to his team about how to properly do the National Anthem prompted this. If you look at his Twitter feed it doesn't resemble one of a typical NFL player. He seems to have taken up with the activists which is his right but since he is a QB you wonder how much is taking away from his focus on football and if his heart is even in the game right now. Agreed.... I wonder why we dont have more protests for the kids dying from gang violence. How about a sit down until certain "communities" start policing their children so they dont die before age 12 or even have access to a handgun or drugs.

Oh yeah??? I don't see CNN or the other liberal sites covering them at all. I also disagree on CK. I think what he is doing is accomplishing something. He may pay a tremendous financial penalty from losing endorsements etc... but he is opening the dialogue. Positive or negative, he is bringing it to the front. I am not in favor of this but it is his right. I wouldn't piss on a CK jersey if it were on fire but...

"We need change." "We need a conversation." Elect the same people for generations and try to silence and call people racists for talking about statistics. Luckily for Colin he has the means to actually help people. I hope he does it.

At this point I would sign that its my fault just so I can go back to having sports be the refuge from life's problems for a few hours a week.
