I do support his right to protest whatever he wants no matter how misguided I feel his anger is. And I do wonder if Jeff Fisher's speech to his team about how to properly do the National Anthem prompted this. If you look at his Twitter feed it doesn't resemble one of a typical NFL player. He seems to have taken up with the activists which is his right but since he is a QB you wonder how much is taking away from his focus on football and if his heart is even in the game right now. I think the 49ers were seriously thinking of cutting him anyway. Isn't making a fortune this year, non guaranteed? I know, I know, Google is my friend... Anyway, if I were SF and it was apparent that's what this twat was focusing on in the minutes before he had to go out and fight for his job i would be completely dismayed, to put it lightly. If the NFL facilitates, as a league, even a shred for BLM before, during or after games I might have to just defect to college ball and never look back.

I remember the Rams players doing something a couple years ago. I take no issue because all of them have been peaceful and nobody was calling for blood which is what we have seen happen on the street during some of these protests. I don't think the league endorses anything. But they are in a tricky spot because of the NFL's popularity it gives the players an enormous platform. They don't want to upset their players or their fans and sometimes that is impossible.

The Cowboys then should bring out Dallas cops on Game 1 (instead of the decal they wanted on the helmets) - if the NFL wants the league to become a political arena, then don't penalize Kap and everyone will start taking sides. Have to nip it in the bud now - people don't give a shit about politics when they watch football - just score a fucking touchdown.
