Just a heads up for everyone in the league. You have to select every game and hit save before the Thursday Night game. After that you can go in and change any of your picks up to 5 minutes before kickoff.

Looks like my son is in -- I don't care about how I do in the pool, but the old man has to beat his kid. The only way i can live with him doing better than me is if he wins some cash -- then I will make him buy me dinner sometime.

With the season starting tomorrow lets finalize the Hampurite insider bet. It appears Lith, HN, Paradis, and myself are in, we're just waiting on Ruby.

I also see Lith's son in the league. I think the league is smaller than I anticipated with only 87 players. My cousin told me last year there were 118 players and they expected more this year. Ironically it mirrors the other pool I'm in. We always have had at least 30 players on opening week.....this year only 16.
We also have one undefeated player so far to add to the misery of the Jets 1 point loss.

I'm going to ride the easy ones and hope injuries help me when I need to pick bad teams. I didn't expect the fish to put up that much of a fight. |
