True story: I get a few Draft guys to join the pool and talk them up a bit to my cousin. I tell him these guys know football. Phone rings about an hour ago and it's my cousin Scott calling, the conversation follows like this. Me: Hey, What's up? Scott: That guy Canadian OG took the Browns in the Survivor Pool....pause....massive eruption of laughter in the background that was so loud he needed to step outside. Me:  |

Go with the obvious and let everyone over think themselves. The Cleveland game was sort of tempting cause it was the garbage bowl. If Seattle lost you would have won basically haha. |

I've done very well over the years in Pick-Em leagues but never sniffed the finish line in the Survivor Pools. With that said, I agree 100% on your Survivor strategy because I'd rather worry about my week 8 pick, instead of hoping for my opener. |

lol, yea tell me about it. What made it worse was the amount of people laughing. It was an odd weekend because my cousin got married on Friday, and then they had a huge surprise birthday party for my Aunt(both are in the pool). There was at least 20 people in the background and they were laughing at me, not so much you,.....thanks alot. |

I wish I didn't see what the general public voted for every game. I wanted to pick of few different teams, but I was like holy shit if this team loses I look like an idiot!. I need to go with my gut. I would have had 2 extra wins. |

Everyone says that in the beginning. I wish I didn't see what the general public voted for every game. I think the general consensus picks span the entire CBSSports Universe and has no effect on our pool. I went upset city today and still had a decent record....go with your gut because it's a long haul. |

I got 10 picks correct. Really wanted to take Tampa Bay at one point, should have stuck with my gut.
Most proud of the 9ers pick. Two terrible teams, default to the home squad, dont know how St Louis was such a huge favorite.

I am getting the updates. Also got 10 right on opening week -- most proud of the fact that I lost the Jet game. At least I showed confidence in my team. Not sure when I will have any confidence in them again. I may still pick them this week, but I have no confidence in them in this spot.
