At least we get to see Berube's season debut. Besides the paycheck I feel horrible for the kid. Makes no sense to me why we are doing this -- unless he plays a minimum number of games, he will be UFA at the end of the season. What is the point, unless we are hoping to trade Jaro and give Berube some significant playing time the rest of the way. |

If he doesnt play at all, hes a UFA and most likely leaves for somewhere else. And I cant see him getting significant time, or even a minimum number of games unless someone gets traded. Garth is like a stubborn fantasy owner stockpiling what he feels are assets on his bench. |
