I really want to win this one, because a Ranger fan friend of mine is in NC this weekend and went to the game -- I really want him to sit through an Islander win. So that's what we're rooting for now. Yup. That is what it has come down to. The other day a vendor invited me to the Blackhawks-Isles game at the United Ctr in March. I was tempted to ask him to get tix to a different game, so I might actually enjoy it. Sitting there in my Trottier jersey while we are getting our asses kicked by Toews, Kane & Co may not exactly be a great way to spend the evening. |

If he doesn't play something like 30 games, he will be FA after the season. Greiss was miserable in the 2nd of a back to back on Saturday -- you would think he would get the day off today. Thankfully, I am at work today, so I won't be able to subject myself to the game this afternoon. |
