My son scored the game winning goal today in our state tier 4 championship game. Went undefeated, out scored the opposition 24-4. Went out for beers and chow with half the team, had them put the isles game on one of the 47 TVs. Occasionally glancing at the screen, saw them being outshot 9-3 with only like 8 minutes in, then down 1-0. Look again, down 2-0. Look up again, 3-0. Look up again, 4-0. And that was just like within the last 5 minutes of the first. Proceeded not to watch any more of it.
Calgarys been hot, but a no show is a disgrace.

Yup. Really nice win, and we needed it since Toronto won too, at least the Rags helped us out by beating the Panthers. Felt good to see JHS pick up his first goal. Not sure how this team can be so bad one night and so good the next. A bit more consistency down the stretch, and we should be okay. |

It was the same under Cappy, too. Which means the players just are not that talented - they're a middle of the league team in talent. No way is this team as it's constituted now is remotely cup ready. 8th seed means a quick death at the hands of the Caps. |

Only saw bits and pieces of the game last night, but enough to know that Bailey had a really good game. A couple of beautiful passes on the goals by JT and Beau. He is having a really nice season as a playmaker, developing some real nice chemistry with Lee and JT.
