And the damn shame is that with everything that went wrong this season: the terrible start, the 3 goalie fiasco, the anemic power play, the number of leads lost late, inability to win shootouts, the blowout losses, despite all of that we were just one fucking point out of the playoffs. |

The team played well for Weight -- one of the best records in the NHL over the 2nd half of the season, but there are major reasons for concern. I guess if keeping Weight makes it more likely that we can re-sign Tavares, I can get on board with that, although I would feel a lot better about this move if we brought in a new GM who gave Dougie a vote of confidence. |
