This one was on me fellas. I had forgotten that last year, every time I posted during a game, bad shit happened, so I started waiting until the game was over to post. I started posting tonight in the 3rd period and we fell apart. My bad.
No more posting about the Isles til the game is over.

Well that's certainly game, Now you can tune into another wonderful Thursday night football game. Oh wait.... Pitt - VA Tech is a pretty good one on ESPN. Tied with 13 minutes to play. |

Man it's early, but in another 8 games, may be time to shitcan cappy. Pens did it last year and won the cup. They also have more talent. Isles roster just isn't that good. Wasn't great last year, and got worse in the offseason. |

I wish they would move on from Halak. Whenever we get momentum it seems like he ALWAYS gives up a softee almost immediately. Its like a knife in the back... they tie things up and wham, soft goal. Reality is, they're really not at the level of WAS, MTL, and PIT at this time. At least not game in and game out. They're still struggling to put together three consistent periods of hockey. |

I wish they would move on from Halak. Whenever we get momentum it seems like he ALWAYS gives up a softee almost immediately. seems like he gives up goals in bunches. I read some rumors that Halaks agent publicly said he isn't happy about the three goalie rotation. In respOnce, snow allegedly has put halak on the trading block. |

Good game. Controlled play most of the game.
I bust Ladds balls, but I thought he played well despite no goals.
Greiss was real good. Interesting he got the start and not Halak. Maybe a big fuck you to Halak.

After we gave up that early goal, I thought we were going to blow another early lead, but they played really well after that, especially Greiss. I hope Cappy comes back to Greiss on Tuesday, but it will probably be Halak. Just doesn't seem right, though, to see Matt Martin in a Maple Leaf unifrom. |

I love the guy, great teammate, great person, albeit a bit one dimensional as a player. The issue I see with this is Cizikas is making 3+M/yr, and Cal is making 3+M/yr and due for a raise. Bringing Matt back without letting Cal walk, ties up over 10 M/yr in bottom six forwards. I dunno if Id want to do that. Maybe you can if all the kids step up and succeed on cheap contracts. If its Clutterbuck vs. Martin, I take Cal 10/10 times... he does more, more offense, kills penalties, and all the stuff Matt does. |

I may regret saying that, but if a trade could be found to move Halak or Berube, I might do it. Why do I have to root for the only football team to carry 4 QBs and the only hockey team to carry 3 goalies. I hear the Mets are thinking about carrying 4 catchers next year  |
