That was the one bright spot we could count on with the rest of the units mediocre to bad. Now we give up a 58 yard TD run almost the first play of the game
anyone else notice how bad palmer was? Palmer had many misses last night , throws that landdd in the ground nowhere near a receiver. Not sure it was anything the Jets did to make that happen

There's no heart on this team..
Buster looked like he had other things to do last night.
It makes me ill to see the Bills whoopin it up etc...
The comraderie is gone.
and so is this chapter in Jets history.

The referees called a terrible game. But it does not hide the fact that this team is just not that good.

The team quit last night. I saw Carter give up on a run to the left and Skrine looked like Cro against the Chargers on the 3rd TD run. He didn't want any part of the RB.

Not sure it was anything the Jets did to make that happen i don't get it either. that's why they have so many resources on the dline. wilk hasn't done much. richardson has shown, at times, how good he is but hasn't gotten to the qb of late. but that doesn't explain how bad the secondary has played or how they are always out of position. to be fair, they did get some pressure on palmer when they blitzed but palmer is smart enough to get the ball to the back in the flat.

What happened to our Offense, oh wait never mind. Offense? Wheres the defense? Cant stop the run, cant stop the pass... We knew going in that the offense would be mediocre, but hopeful that the defense would keep games close.

We really missed Harris. He maybe slow, but he's the leader of our defense. Also putting Sheldon at MLB was one of the stupidest ideas I've ever seen. He's quick for a big guy, but whenever Johnson bounced it outside he couldn't keep up. It was painfully obvious on Johnson's 58 yard run, but Bowles kept him there.

Take into account 31 is one bad game all D's are entitled, maybe the O can score some points 6 not 3, keep the other O off the field maybe those game totals would go not to mention the field position and points given by O and ST'S. What is the average points scored by O's in the league I think it was 22 or more last year. O knows the play for christ sake.

David Johnson is also one of, if not the best, rb in the league.
But yeah you can see most of the guys not giving it there all on defense. Can't blame them.

And when we had Faneca, Woody, Brick and Nick they were somewhat successful with an older TJ and Rookie QB we never addressed the depletion of the OL the Giants and Steelers have invested top picks in OL over the past few years and that will pay off for them certainly before we see any gains.

Rinse repeat...the lack of quality and depth is cyclic regardless of jets regime. No coincidence that whenver we've had a good Oline we've been competitive and when the line sucked so did the O. Drafted DBrick with a high 1st and that guy was a solid contributor from day 1 through most of his career. How many other high jet draft picks can you say the same about?
