Blame Bowles all we want, were pointing the finger at the wrong who is stuck with the worst starting QB in the league and a defence full of bums. The blame lies with Macc at this point for me, and that's an even bigger concern, he gave big money contracts to Skrine, Wilk and Revis all for an average return at best. He gave 12 mill to Fitz and there seems to be a reluctance to start a guy he drafted in the 2nd round while rooks around the league are lighting it up. Little impact from his drafts from Smith, Jenkins, Lee or Mauldin at this point although he seems to has hit on a few UDFA receivers. Macc is respond lie for the shit show you see before you, Bowles is the fall guy for a useless QB and a GM who has provided very little quality both in FA and the draft. I think Bowles gets blame too. The coaching has been terrible. Sure, throw blame at Mac and I agree it's warranted. But we used to bust Rex's balls for only being a defensive coach. Gailey has been awful. What has the head coach done about it??? Nothing. He is a defensive coach, the defense has been horrible. It's not all the players. Coaches get credit and take blame and Bowles deserves a shitload of the blame. Fair point. However He led us to 10 wins last year and had us playing decent disciplined football and offensively we functioned well for the first time in a long time. I just personally believe that the majority of this bunch are uncoachable and that this roster is grossly overrated. Let's look at it.... OFFENSE: QB - Fitz, nothin needs to be said. LT - Macc provided a banged up Clady, average at best. LG - Carp is Solid. C - Stuck with Johnson as Mangold declines through injury, he's played well but he's not scaring any defensive fronts. RG - Winters is solid but unspectacular. RT - Ijalana and Breno are horse shit. WR - outside of Marshall and Deck it's decent unit but again not scaring any DB's at this point, solid unit but far from great IMO RB - Forte and Powell would be good if they where behind Dallas's oline, behind our average line the ground game looks a struggle. DEFENSE: Dline - The only group with genuine quality, although there's only Leo showing up so maybe you could blame coaching for that one. LB - No pass rush or coverage ability, needs blowing up and has need it for a long time, not sure Mauldin and Jenkins are the answer and that's on Macc if they don't pan out, only time will tell here. Secondary - Same, no real quality, just average across the board. I thought Skrine and Pryor where good players last year but they are just bodies this year, again no one in the league is scared of them. Average roster so why are we surprised by any of this? We need to look at what Dallas and Oakland have done, big physical offensive line, actually draft a RB and find a QB or at least look at the ones we have. Bowles should take some blame but Macc is dissapointing me more by the week.

I think we should go as far to say that maybe the scouts who eye these future players are to blame as well. If you can't scout talent then you won't have any. If Bryce and some of the young guys don't pan out, then it's more than the head coach and GM issue.

How did Bryce look? I havent been able to watch game yet... Was not overwhelmed. Didn't ask him to do too much. 2 screen/short passes and he handed off the other snaps. It's time to give him the reigns. Dudes the real deal. Can do what Dak and Wentz are doing easily. _ I'm concerned for his safety with this patchwork OL

Did they show the offside play during the broadcast? Was it a legit call, or is Allen right that it was a bad call?

Macc needs to prioritise that O-line in the offseason, put Hack or Petty behind a water tight line that can run the ball.

Macc needs to prioritise that O-line in the offseason, put Hack or Petty behind a water tight line that can run the ball. If the Falcons let Ryan Schraeder walk, he should be our #1 priority. He's been one of the top RT's over the last couple years. Then draft Fournette
