I just read that entire thread. JN is like a watered down version of JI. It's the same joke over and over and is lacking the in your face personalities. At JI moment we could be at each others throats and the next drinking buddies. I never got that feeling at JN and I originally signed up their first. I'm glad you and others were able to put up this site. There is a reason why so many of us chose it over an established site like JN. It speaks volumes about the type of community we had. exactly. Which is why ill never let it get to big. Quality over quantity. We dont need 5 times a week posters. We need every down backs here. Like it used to be. Dont think i dont appreciate some of you guys coming over with us. I know we appeared like a bunch of assholes in the hampur. Egad. So folks who post rarely can look forward to a future banning? I think I'm in trouble. |

I know, it's almost like you've been accepted...they do know you're a girl right?  ...kidding....fully deserved Actually, she was the one who accepted us! But don't ask what we had to do for her in the mod lounge! She had us on our knees....knitting hats ALL NIGHT LONG! Truth be told, the force has some good balance around here from a mod standpoint as far as I can tell. Hatchets have been buried (or are being buried) and everyone gets a clean slate. If someone does get banded it will be completely obvious as to why.....There is tolerance here...and boobs....and good people....and boobs. Glad you made it over! What was your JI post count? You want it updated here?
What happens in the mod lounge stays in the mod lounge!!...still if you get to use the 'knit like a jet' sig then it was worth it thanks for the welcome and great job here guys...post count I think was about 2850 although I was always more proud of my Join date(about 2000/2001) than post count...I like to say little but carry a big stick asit were :-) but thank you that'd be great and tolerance and boobs...what's not to love about that?(actually tolerance is massively overrated in my view...but boobs!!) cheers guys |

I have no idea, but the other day on JI when you were talking to Paulie about people hating on the Chairman, I drew the conclusion it was one of the handful of alts you were trolling with... are you Heat Mizer? I fucking love that one too... i just went over and let loose f that noise when i come in a thread youll fucking know its me . i got 3 more if i need them. Thats the first one i used in 4 years. I dont like that site only time i get involved is when my name comes flying out of some twats mouth. I never troll im way to much of an egomaniac to troll. I think too many of you guys feel like you have to polarize the decision... like, in order for you to be happy with Ragu's site, you have to take a dump on JN or whatever other alternative there is. I post on a handful of boards, they all come with their pro's and con's... the adamant "I belong to this tribe, all others are shit" reeks of insecurity. They are message boards, lighten the fuck up. |

Like you said there are pros and cons to every site. Liking one better than another doesn't make you insecure, and you're reading way into my post if you think "taking a dump on JN makes me feel happy with Rugu's site". What I was trying to say is when you post somewhere for a long time you get to know the people and build friendships. It's inevitable. JI and JN are good sites in their own right, and have tons of knowledgeable poster, but still different. It was nice to see Rugu and others put this together for everyone so we could continue what we had on JI. I'm pretty sure they feel the same way otherwise they wouldn't have wasted their time. No need to lighten up here. |
