Ambush killings? I dont know but I dont remember any like we have seen the last 2 years. Obama is tacitly encouraging the killing of police. he can now feel free to attend his "Hate America' church with Reverand Wright. Blacks have done extremely poorly under his leadership. Higher poverty, higher unemployment. He is a complete failure. Would it matter to you if police killings are steadily DOWN since 1970? Or that Black unemployment has fallen to lowest since 2007? Gun violence in the US is down over the past 20 years. This one liner quip-fest is fun!  |

This one liner quip-fest is fun! I prefer dueling links! There is half as much crime in the US right now as there was about 25 years ago. Both violent and property crime have declined pretty steadily since the early 1990s.But Americans are more concerned about crime now than they have been since 2001. That's because Americans keep thinking that crime rates are going up. At any given time, between half and three-quarters of them will say that there's more crime in America than there was last year. |

i respect Pew...but the Census bureau says differently(all be it i think their numbers were till 2015,still thats 6-7 yrs)...and food stamps would nat be on a decline after 4 million more people signed up for it under Comarade Obama... |

Well.... difficult to find honest Obama writings in anything like NYT, CNN etc... he has NEVER stood behind the podium and did anything that condemns the killings and BLM. He did act prematurely in Missouri case, Travon case, Cambridge case etc. He is a community organizer and acts like one. |

gothamist.com/2016/11/20/david_chang_trump_tower_security.phpwell, he's already costing jobs in midtown, and every visit back will cost the Port Authority $100K, (because the tolls aren't high enough now) and massive overtime for NYPD, how is the city supposed to pay for that especially since he's going to cut NYC's funding now (which the federal gov't gets from NYC in the first place)

Everyone knows crime in general is on a downward trend over a period of decades. But there has been a recent uptick in the short. And there are reasons to be concerned that this is not just a coincidence. Employment numbers are cooked to shit. You need to look at the labor participation rates. Just look at the rise in how many are on food stamp participants and decrease in home ownership. Thats what tells the story. We have spent trillions on the "recovery" so you also have to judge if we got enough bang for our buck. |
