My first two thoughts... he's on record as very pro-asset forfeiture (hes stated that “95 percent” of civil asset forfeitures involve people who have “done nothing in their lives but sell dope.”) and is also on record as saying marijuana can kill you.
Id almost rather him have been appointed SoD, where hes less hawkish than a Bolton, as it was a given he was getting some position.

Agreed his main focus will be immigration - he's opposed every immigration bill in the Senate for the past 20 years. On the plus side, we're going to see laws enforced.
And while I don't think he can or would go after marijuana either, he certainly wont be banging the drum for decriminalization of related minor offenses if he (like Chelsea) thinks Mary Jane is a killer, as some hoped we'd see. He's definitely a hard-liner there.

I cannot wait to see this kid get waxed in the hearings. Trump is throwing bodies at the 4,000 roles he has to fulfill, as the swamp draining drips along. Goolieanny has not a drop of foreign service. This shit show will not be drowned out by tweets.

So if your state has weed I dont think they are going to try to usurp. |
