Geeze before the election he said he wouldnt. Go figure. friggin Mexican judge! money.cnn.com/2016/11/18/news/trump-university-settlement/index.htmlDonald Trump settles Trump University lawsuits by Katie Lobosco and Drew Griffin @cnnmoney November 18, 2016: 4:59 PM ET Trump University lawsuits settled for $25 million Donald Trump has agreed to pay $25 million to settle three lawsuits against Trump University. The deal will keep the president-elect from having to testify in a trial in San Diego that was set to begin November 28. The settlement ends a suit brought by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, as well as two class action suits in California. About 6,000 former students are covered by the settlement. Related: Trump University's 'top' instructor's job was to sell, not teach Trump University is the defunct, for-profit real estate seminar business Trump created in 2005. Former students say they were hoodwinked by the program and claimed that teachers were not hand-picked by Trump as advertised. Some paid tens of thousands of dollars to participate. The settlement is a complete turnaround from Trump's earlier position on the lawsuits. "This is a case I could have settled very easily, but I don't settle cases very easily when I'm right," he said in March.
But since Trump was elected, U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel urged the parties to settle the case to avoid the immense complications of a president-elect facing trial while preparing to take office. Last week, one of Trump's attorneys indicated that he might change his position on settling. Schneiderman said Friday that he was pleased with the terms of the settlement. He first filed the suit in 2013. "The victims of Trump University have waited years for today's result and I am pleased that their patience -- and persistence -- will be rewarded by this $25 million settlement," he said in a statement. CNN's Paul Vercammen contributed to this story.

Unlike Clinton would have had, he will have zero blemishes on his presidency.
God bless DJT.

Lets be honest.
If he fought the case these same people would be saying that he should just settle it so he can focus on being President.
Settling was the right decision. Doesnt have to testify and can just move no.

Unlike Clinton would have had, he will have zero blemishes on his presidency. God bless DJT. Your really want to hitch your wagon to this statement? The man has been in the building business for over 40 years. I am betting at some point there will be a Mafia connection allegation as well as corporate payouts to inspectors and such. I am not saying any of it would be true or proven, just that it is going to happen.

Wheels need greasing. Its how shit gets done. If we started locking them up for "donating" to politicians for zoning variances there wouldn't be a builder left.

They did that when the press would not report things as they might not be good for the country. We could never have won WWII in this media age.

Now by settling he is admitting some wrondoing which hurts him but if he fought the case they would have said its an unnecessary distraction. Hes cutting his losses. The talking heads and sour grapes will throw their stones and in a few days this is an afterthought.
