Mod, should I put all Trump broken promises in one post or do them one at a time? Trump aide Kellyanne Conway: No plan to pursue charges against Clinton By David Wright, CNN Updated 8:58 AM ET, Tue November 22, 2016 The Trump administration will not further investigate Hillary Clinton related to her email use (CNN)President-elect Donald Trump's administration will not pursue further investigations of Hillary Clinton related to her private email server or the Clinton Foundation, Trump's former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said Tuesday, a significant break from a major campaign promise."I think when the President-elect, who's also the head of your party, tells you before he's even inaugurated that he doesn't wish to pursue these charges, it sends a very strong message, tone, and content" to fellow Republicans, Conway said in an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." At the second presidential debate in early October, Trump threatened Clinton, saying that "if I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation."
Conway said Clinton "still has to face the fact that a majority of Americans don't find her to be honest or trustworthy," but added that "if Donald Trump can help her heal, then perhaps that's a good thing to do." "Look, I think he's thinking of many different things as he prepares to become the President of the United States, and things that sound like the campaign are not among them," she added.
During Trump's ferocious election fight with Clinton, chants of "lock her up" -- referring to Clinton -- became a refrain of the Republican's campaign, as he hammered the Democratic presidential nominee over her decision to use a private email server as secretary of state, and lobbed accusations of corruption and "pay to play" politics at the Clinton Foundation. and your point? i see nothing in there that really changes anything. trump is saying it's just not worthwhile to do right now. we do not prosecute people if it looks like a politica; vendetta unless you're eric schneiderman or the idiot demotard attorney general who went after scott walker. but more to the point, hillarity is subject to 3 fbi investigations and they may or may not be related. you can let her off for the emails and the national security concerns but that doesn't have anything to do with the pay for play with the foundation. the bottom line is the door remains open. if the justice department does press for it, trump will okay it.

Exactly. The emails were never the big game hunt. And they involve Obama and dragging him back into things is bad for politics and the country in general. They were never going down that road. The prize has always been the foundation. If (when) something pops up with the foundation, which is reportedly still under FBI investigation, she will go down for that.
Very simple. Amazing how people are either unwilling or unable to get their heads around that. I guess they dont go over that sort of stuff in gender studies or post-modern lesbian dance class.

And Obama promised me "free" healthcare He also promised to bring the country together, and after 8 years...look at it...the most divided it's been since the mid-60's. It's campaigning. They're after the most votes possible. Even Obama himself said that how you campaign doesn't necessarily dictate how you will govern. Really? You must be real special. Maybe even one of those children of the sun. He didn't promise me free health care, or "free" health care, or anyone I know. The difference is that legislation that obama didn't get passed was AFTER he got into office and republicans got together to strategize about how to obstruct his agenda from day one swampland.time.com/2012/08/23/the-party-of-no-new-details-on-the-gop-plot-to-obstruct-obama/ blocking every single proposal even republican ideas such as "Obamacare " (i.e. Romney care) As opposed to backing away from at least half a dozen promises two weeks after the election before even the inauguration, with no pressure from anyone at all, but rather someone who is fickle and has no policy principles and randomly changes his mind. Of course the "true" supporters (or rather his marks) know the secret code to decipher which promises he really meant and which he didn't but were just meant to rile up people and get him elected. They hope

Obama had two years with control of both houses. All he got done was Obamacare with no Republican votes. It was rammed through and as Nancy Pelosi said, "we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it." Real quote. You can look it up. He could have got immigration done in that time. They had the power. Thats on the Democrats.
Republicans were right to obstruct him bc federal courts and the Supreme Court has overturned some of his executive actions. There is a reason why the didnt want to work with him. They also got a mandate from the people with their very strong performance in the midterm elections in 2010 and 2014. Just look at the amount of seats in both houses the Dems have lost since 2008. The governorships they have lost. The state houses.
We will get border security. We will get an improvement from Obamacare which is on its deathbed. We will produce more energy. We will improve our trade deficits. Only butthurt libs will get caught up in if the wall is a few less miles than he said it would be. These are also the same people that for months chastised him for not softening or taking others opinions into consideration. Now he shows an inkling of it and they chastise him for breaking promises. Can't win. Except for the election, of course.

Again, this only matters to people who live in precincts that will go blue by 20 pts regardless of the candidate. At this point you guys need to find a likeable black candidate. Spiking the black vote at 95% with big turnout is your only chance of winning if your strategy is going to be keeping score on things real people dont give a shit about. "Is my husband back to work?" "Can I afford my health insurance and pay my bills?" If the answer is yes, those precious counties will stay red. The libs may put that Louis Faharkan senator from Minnesota as the head of the DNC. Yeah, he will really connect with middle class white workers from the mid west! Hahahaha. Stupid fucks.

Yeah investigating the foundation should turn up some juicy shit. I wonder if they will find that her Argentinian hotel project got its building permits two days after talking to the president of Argentina after being stalled for years. Or her asking a British politician for favors in trying not to get wind turbines built near her property thus sullying the view. Or meeting with Indian executives in her sos office who she's building apartments with. Or Chelsea sitting in on a meeting with the PM of Japan. Or that foreign dignitaries were booking rooms at her hotel, despite the emoluments clause in the constitution. Or that she was in a position to appoint the people who were going to decide on a labor dispute in one of her hotels. Or appointing one of her business partners a special envoy. Or building projects in Saudi Arabia. Granted that's a lot but she was sos for four years

What I can't seem to find is any report of this guy being out in public since the middle of October. She's fucked.
