I guess no more death penalty. If this guy develops a principle it'll be his first
(CNN)Donald Trump called WikiLeaks "disgraceful" and suggested there be a "death penalty" for their actions during a 2010 interview.
Speaking on camera to preview Brian Kilmeade's radio show, the Fox News anchor brought up the topic of WikiLeaks. At the time, WikiLeaks had published hundreds of thousands of classified documents and videos that were leaked to the organization by Pfc. Chelsea Manning, known at the time as Pfc. Bradley Manning.

Home Economy & Politics Russian officials celebrated Trump’s win, U.S. ID’s WikiLeaks sources: reports By Mike Murphy Published: Jan 5, 2017 9:19 p.m. ET
Evidence that Russia interfered with election presented to Obama; Trump to be briefed Friday Bloomberg News U.S. intelligence is said to have collected ample evidence of Russian hacking efforts.
Senior Russian officials celebrated Donald Trump’s win in the U.S. presidential election and congratulated each other on it, reports said Thursday, part of growing pile of evidence that Russia was behind an effort to interfere with the election.
The Washington Post and NBC News both reported that the reactions were revealed by “highly classified intercepts,” which were part of an intelligence briefing presented to President Barack Obama on Thursday. Trump, who has been dismissive of U.S. intelligence reports on the alleged Russian hacking plot, is expected to receive the same briefing Friday.
Additionally, U.S. intelligence has reportedly identified the go-betweens who provided WikiLeaks with Democratic Party emails stolen by Russian hackers. Earlier this week, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange denied that the emails came from the Russian government.
The 50-page intelligence report is said to detail evidence and lay out Russian methods and motives in hacking attacks against a number of corporations and government organizations over the past nine years, including the Democratic Party, the White House and the State Department. NBC News reported that the report said the cyber campaign was revenge for Obama’s questioning of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s legitimacy.

Russian Hacking Hearing Sparks Cybersecurity Debate(2:05) Top U.S. intelligence officials said they are confident Russia was behind a "multi-faceted" cyber campaign targeting the 2016 election, but how America addresses cyberattacks is up for debate. WSJ's Shelby Holliday reports.
Earlier Thursday, top U.S. intelligence officials testified on Capitol Hill that senior Russian officials were behind the hacking and that Russia is a “full-scope cyber actor that poses a major threat” to critical U.S. infrastructure.
