Libshits are really going too far: thousands of emails, death threats, a video from Hollyweird Dlisters and has-beens. Whatever happened to Cankles McPantSuit's warnings about endangering the Republic and the Constitution? All blabbering for the other side only? Can you imagine the coming shitstorm when Senate debate is cutoff thanks to Pedo Harry Reid's "nuclear option" is used against Dems? OMG - the crying and whining will be DELICIOUS!

The U.S. is not a democracy. At least not a direct democracy. It wasnt in 2012 when he tweeted that, nor is it today.

for a democracy? Probably is. Luckily, the US is a democratic Republic, so we have that going for us.

For a "democratic republic", it's strange that the president is the only nominated office in the US that completely disregards majority vote. Every other nominated official, and there are what, thousands, that are decided by the majority? I'm sure our president elect now realizes that we're a democratic republic though. He apparently didn't have a clue in 2012. Back when he hated the idea of the electoral college. Something I can actually agree with him about.

All of the back biting and majorly vote shit is for naught. If the presidential election was decided by majority vote trump woulda campaigned differently and all the people in NY and Illionis and Cali that didn't vote cause their vote didn't matter, would have. It's motherfuckkng over and we won. Deal with it or move. C ya

Trump is our president - he won based on the rules of the electoral college. But to lose by over 2.5 million votes and still win the election is still discussion worthy at the very least. It's a terrible process. It was a terrible process long before this election. That's my main issue. It's the reason why I never even vote. My state is already long over before we even know who the candidates even are. An entire election is decided by about five states. Every other vote in every other state is completely meaningless. Does that make sense to you? Even Trump knows it's a disaster of a process to elect the president whether he wants to admit it or not now. See his above tweet.

And he kicked the old cunts ass. If it was a simple majority win he woulda kicked the old cunts ass even more. Or maybe not. Doesn't matter. He won. We won. And Hilary can go kick rocks that old bag. Fuck her.

NOW and THEN. Small states like NC, SC, CT, RI, Delaware would not sign the constitution as it was clear to them that NY and Virginia would control the entire country. So our founding fathers created this system. We cant live in a country where 3 states control the outcome. That said... I fully believe that TRUMP could have won the popular vote by campaigning more in NY and NJ, even Ill. He knew he couldn't win those states so he hardly went there.

Even if we did away with the Electoral college I doubt it would result in the whiner's dream of just a nationwide popular vote. I think it would still result in each state getting a number of votes equal to the electoral college votes based on the statewide popular vote for each state. It will take a constitutional amendment to make a change and I don't see small states easily giving up their say to more densely populated states.

No lib talks about the Electoral College unless they lose the Presidency
The talk of disenfranchisement is ludicrous-the electors are morally whenever not legally bound to vote as the state voted and any change disenfranchises John Q. Public. Any dope that changes a vote even from Mme. Bobblehead to Rumplehair is just that
Remove the illegal parasite multi-counted multi-state and dead folks vote everywhere - start with Cook, Los Angeles, New York City and other lib counties - and we'll see how "popular" Granny Pickles is-that's a real disenfranchisement of the American vote
