The squealing pushback and denial was fascinating. Obama haters can't deny his most hated trait was lack of "strong leadership " , read "authoritarian "
In fact, I’ve found a single statistically significant variable predicts whether a voter supports Trump—and it’s not race, income or education levels: It’s authoritarianism.
That’s right, Trump’s electoral strength—and his staying power—have been buoyed, above all, by Americans with authoritarian inclinations. And because of the prevalence of authoritarians in the American electorate, among Democrats as well as Republicans, it’s very possible that Trump’s fan base will continue to grow.
My finding is the result of a national poll I conducted in the last five days of December under the auspices of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, sampling 1,800 registered voters across the country and the political spectrum. Running a standard statistical analysis, I found that education, income, gender, age, ideology and religiosity had no significant bearing on a Republican voter’s preferred candidate. Only two of the variables I looked at were statistically significant: authoritarianism, followed by fear of terrorism, though the former was far more significant than the latter.
Authoritarianism is not a new, untested concept in the American electorate. Since the rise of Nazi Germany, it has been one of the most widely studied ideas in social science. While its causes are still debated, the political behavior of authoritarians is not. Authoritarians obey. They rally to and follow strong leaders. And they respond aggressively to outsiders, especially when they feel threatened. From pledging to “make America great again” by building a wall on the border to promising to close mosques and ban Muslims from visiting the United States, Trump is playing directly to authoritarian inclinations.

I watched about 5 minutes of MSNBC and listened to so call experts talk about how Hillary got a mandate and that Trump didnt win the popular vote etc. Denial at its best. Do you think Trump won the popular vote? Listen, Trump won fair and square and he's the President, but that doesn't change the fact that many more Americans voted for Clinton. Why cant people live with facts? You can't change the rules after the game is over. Winning the popular vote is not the goal. Winning States and Electoral votes is the goal. This system is intended -- like just about everything else in our system -- to avoid the tyranny of a bare majority. A great man once said "Elections have consequences", and the election of Trump plus the 1,000 or so seats across the land that went from Dem to GOP is a definite sign the country wants "change" different from that offered by our outgoing POTUS who, like it or not, can be authoritarian with the best of them.

She only won the popular vote in Ca. She can keep that fucking place as well. I hope they are successful in their CAXIT effort. We'd just need longer fucking wall. She won the popular vote in other states as well, and when you add them up she won the popular vote nationwide. Thats how it works, we add all 50 together. (It's OK to say it. Trump still gets to be President) That's not how it works. If it was she would be president. Him not including California to support his argument has just as much validity as you counting the popular vote in the first place to support yours. None.

Actually she's doing quite well. $150,00 per episode, net worth $12,000,000. And Hil will rake it in on the rubber chicken circuit. They're both doing alot better that you and I and will continue to. I'm unsure if you have an understanding of the world out there. I don't care how much money Lena Dumham has - I wouldn't switch places with her for a trillion dollars. You see what she looks like? Omg. Part man, part pig - she kinda looks like that blue elephant alien character who played the round piano in the bar scene in Star Wars. Also, she's the unstable, hysterical type that I wouldn't be surprised at all if she took a bottle of sleeping pills, slit her wrists in a bathtub and ended it all tomorrow. I could totally understand too - I wouldn't want to live another minute if I was as hideously disgusting and hated as her. Except she's loved by millions. And we haven't seen your picture. Are you handsome?

Voters are making clear that they want to be ruled with a strong hand, not rule themselves. didn't read past this fucking hilariously wrong line, author is clearly a fucking fool voters absolutely REJECTED "being ruled with a strong hand", from moronic pc rules that make speaking obvious truths a cri It's a shame we're no longer allowed to call r e t a r d s that anymore, innit?
