I think you'll be surprised at how close the positional matchups are, outside of Iowa's WRs. Iowa has a future NFL TE, probably 3(at least) NFL OL, an NFL DT, one of the best MLB and CB in college football. Iowa is down to 3 healthy CBs(literally) and their #4 CB will be starting Opposite King. That plus suspect safeties could be the place to exploit Iowa. I'll be interested how Iowa is able/not able to run the ball. Bye the end of the game, both Daniels and Wadley could have 1K on the year. Wadley is the difference maker. He is so small, but he makes people look silly. His shiftiness and lateral movement are NFL level. Iowa doesn't generally play well in bowl games, so I'm not confident because of that, but the talent gap isn't usually as great as people expect. Slightly off topic but what happened with Carl Davis that came out in 2015? He had a great senior bowl and I liked him coming out but haven't heard much about him since then although I haven't even checked to see how he is doing. From what I can gather, Davis has been a non factor at Baltimore. I never was as high on him at Iowa as a lot of other Iowa fans. He had serious technical lapses and just lack of motor often times too. His pad level was always an issue, and he became way to easy to block way to often. When he wante to turn it on, he was a force. He has all the tools and size to wow people, and that's why it was worth taking a shot on him, but I'd be lying if I said I'm surprised he hasn't done much yet. Jaleel Johsnon, their big DT this year, is much better than Davis, in my opinion. But has similar motor concerns, but when he plays, he's a load. Typical plugger in a 4-3 DT.

I remember the motor concerns, but damn he was good during senior bowl week. Another all the talent in the world with questionable work ethics.....he would have been a perfect Jet.

I just did a quick search on him because I was curious, because I thought he at least played some as a rookie. Turns out he's been on IR all year with an ankle. Would explain why I hadn't heard anything on him.

Indeed, Gator fan. Honestly, has there been a bad UF corner in the last decade?... You could draft all Gators on defense and probably be OK for you batting average. I with you. Tabor's got some smooth operator mojo going on, but i love Wilson natural/instinctive style of play. He's got a great hips too (no homo) Agreed. I'm hoping Wilson gets overlooked because this CB class is loaded. It might be even more loaded than the RB class now that some RBs stayed. I think he's a mid/last 1st round talent that miiiiiight get pushed to the 3rd round. If he's there we better jump all over him. If we could get Wilson in the 2nd, I"d piss my pants. When the draft is here I think he'll be the 1st corner taken. Malik Hooper and him will go in the top 15. Just an opinion.

I love Dalvin Cook the player but I'm worried about his commitment. Why do you say this? Have there been character concerns? On the Showtime hardknocks like FSU show he seemed like the leader of the team and a likable hard working guy. Honest question. I haven't seen anything negative and I love him as a player.

He's had some legal issues in the past and it was obvious he was out of shape when the season started. You never know which player is going to get that fat paycheck and then mail it in.....it happens all of the time. I'm not saying he will, just saying there are some question marks when it comes to the player.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but if Watson plays well in the title game, is he going to enter the conversation at 6?

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but if Watson plays well in the title game, is he going to enter the conversation at 6? ehhh.... i think he was exposed on too many levels to get back into top 10. However, showing (once again) that he's a big game baller, will maybe help remind people that it's not all measurables and mechanics. Which i agree with. I do think Watson is a natural born leader who puts the team on his back, every damn week. I just don't think i'd be willing pass on others to hope the rest follows suit.

I agree with you and Hollywood. I'm just becoming skeptical that Bowles and Macc are going to possibly risk their jobs by going into next season with Hack, Petty & a vet (even though a lot of us agree that it is the proper course of action).

That's a good assessment on Watson. In terms of physical tools, Watson isn't a top ten pick. But his " intangibles" certainly are. He doesn't get rattled, keeps his poise and his entire team has faith in him. Ultimately I think he goes in the second round as I think a team would be willing to take a chance there as opposed to using a top 10 pick.

There's not a lot of options this year, so I can't imagine him falling beyond day 2. What's interesting to me is some of the commonalities Watson shares with Prescott. Not physically, but narratively. Although Dak played on a different caliber team and program, they faced similar questions about their game at the pro level. I thought Dak had a tremendous junior year but when I watched him more closely in his senior year, I started picking apart his game, and maybe undervaluing his tenacity and leadership. Some guys just dig deep and find ways to win.
