He did an amazing job against Alabama, but I think he projects to be a guard at the next level. I wouldn't mind taking him if he slipped to the second round somehow.

I like Lamp quite a bit, not news. But I think you can take him and worry about T/G later. Start him at tackle and see where it goes.
He ought to be a 2nd 3rd round steal but with this year's crop -- who knows.

Everyone thinks he's kicking inside and he very well might but I'd give him a shot a Tackle first because he has terrific feet. Worst case scenario with him is he turns into an incredible guard.

Hasson Riddick. He walked on to Temple as a CB but is now a DE/OLB. He's a Jersey kid and has a high motor. I don't think he can be a DE at the next level, but he'd make a great OLB in a 3-4 or a SAM/WILL LB in a 4-3. He can cover RBs and TEs and takes on blockers pretty well. He also has a great first step and was up there in tackles for a loss.

Some of the mock draft boards are now having the Jets pick Notre Dame QB Deshone Kizer with the #6 pick of the draft. Please no....no more project QB's. I want a can't miss rookie but would consider a proven veteran has at least 4 years left who parts ways with his team, with the additional caveat it's not Jay Cutler.

Not as badly as I vomitted after we picked Hack but that was a second round pick. If we pick Kizer at 6, I will lose it. _

Pretty sure he has been mentioned a few times in this thread.
Jon Ledyard @ledyardnfldraft 4m4 minutes ago BREAKING: UCLA DE/OLB Takkarist McKinley opted out of the Senior Bowl because of a torn right labrum which could eventually need surgery.
Jon Ledyard @ledyardnfldraft 2m2 minutes ago McKinley is still very much undecided at this time as to whether he will have surgery or not,but if he did it would be after the NFL Combine
Jon Ledyard @ledyardnfldraft 1m1 minute ago He plans on participating at the Combine, but felt it would be better not to risk the injury at the Senior Bowl.

Pat Mahomes is going to an interesting watch as this draft process plays out. He has the obvious question marks because of the system he plays in, but the kid can throw the ball and has some tools that translate very well to the next level. He is quickly becoming my favorite QB in this draft.

He is quickly becoming my favorite QB in this draft. His movement in the pocket and passing style kind of remind me of Aaron Rodgers. Obviously, he's not Rodgers but the talent is intriguing - although he does come with huge questions due to the scheme has has played in. There have been loads of highly successful college QBs in that scheme at Texas Tech who have amounted to zero in the pros. I'd take a flyer on him, but not before the middle rounds.

He is quickly becoming my favorite QB in this draft. I'm in the opposite thinking and I must be missing something. I watch him and see a guy who has no feel for pressure what'sover, he's skiddish, can't make any reads, stares down the guy he plans on throwing to regardless and I feel like his entire highlight real are broken coverage plays. Basically I see virtually nothing that will translate. EJ Manuel esque
