He'll be at their minor league camp with the other non-special minor leaguers, but I hear he may be "borrowed" for certain major-league Grapefruit League games - obviously to boost attendance at games in Florida, where hes their hero. This has always been about money and publicity, not actual baseball talent. He blows as a baseball player.

I wonder how long this farce continues... assuming he breaks camp with a minor league team like Sandy is saying, is he willing to ride a bus in A ball or AA and pay his dues, with no guarantee of making the majors? At some point, I have to guess that would get real old.

At least he could buy beer for the under 21 year olds in single A... he's got that going for him.
