According to Slater/Hughes, Jets have met with TEs Evan Engram, OJ Howard & Gerald Everett. and Centers, Kyle Fuller and Tyler Orlosky. Edit: More complete list of prospects Jets have met or plan to meet with, also from Slater/Hughes: But at this point, here is the list of players we know either have met with -- or plan to meet with -- the Jets during Senior Bowl week in Mobile: Arkansas TE Jeremy Sprinkle Alabama TE O.J. Howard Mississippi TE Evan Engram Knew you would be all over the TE angle to that one -- also sounds like the kid from South Alabama, Gerald Everett has impressed so far this week. So, is there any chance Howard is a possibility for us at 6 or is that too high?

He's been the apple of many scouts' eye, but i don't have access to the film they do. I would love to see another Jaguar in green and white. I see the report this morning about Howard blowing the socks off the practices (no surprise there) and wondered the same thing. I mean, in retrospect was Graham or Gronk worth #6? Absolutely... does Howard fit that bill? Kinda, yea... 'Bama never used him appropriately though and so we're now placing a ton on practices and work outs. Fuck. You would have been a dream pick if we were selecting at #19 again this year.

Finally working my way through the North practice and a few players are standing out. Both of the Temple guys looked great today, Haason Reddick the 230lb ILB and Dion Dawkins the giant Guard. I really liked Dawkins, looks like a bull at the G position.
Another great practice from Orlosky the C from WV, and another poor day from Bisnowaty. At this point I want no part of him, he doesn't have the athleticism. Even with Davenports measurables I'm not a big fan, he plays soft and lumbers around.
The safety from UConn is fucking jacked and I could see him flying up the draft boards. 6'4" and it looks like he doesn't have an ounce of fat of him, moves pretty good too.
Almost left out the RT Moton from W Michigan....I'm a fan.

Working through the South practice and I'm still a big fan of Garcia. Hopefully there is a run on the CB's and he somehow falls to our second rounder. Isadora has been nothing but meh as has been McDermott. I think the North has better Olineman especially now with Lamp out for the game.
Is anyone else warming up to this Davis Webb kid as a late round developmental guy? I know we already have two of them but he checks a lot of the boxes.....big strong kid, nice release, good arm strength. Other than that I don't know much about him but hearing DJ call him a possible second rounder is laughable.
I'm surprised there is not more chatter in here.
Maybe this would help....my quick 4 round fix the offense draft.
1st- Dalvin Cook 2nd- Antonio Garcia 3rd- Jeremy Sprinkle 4th- Tyler Orlosky......probably too high for him but it's Senior Bowl week
Edit: The center from UK(Toth) absolutely sucks balls.

I need to watch some tape of that UConn safety. He looks like a monster at the next level, I wonder how his overall tape looks. What a physical specimen.

I don't think I ever agree with most of the so called scouts but I've always thought Tony was one of the best of them because he covers so many prospects. Sprinkle is the one TE that I've had the pleasure of watching over the last two years and his game translates to the pro game because it is so well rounded. Obviously the combine will be huge for him but right now today.....I'm burning our early third on him and smiling all of the way. You like tape....let me know what you think of that UConn safety. He's an athletic freak that I know nothing about.

You would have been a dream pick if we were selecting at #19 again this year. Lets trade down with a team joensing for a Fournette. We get some more picks, draft Howard, or draft another TE with a 2nd round grade. We would still have another 2nd to play with

Pauline hasn't been to kind to Sprinkle this week. I've seen enough sprinkle in-game footage to feel confident about him. He's an underrated blocker and just scraping the surface of his receiving ability. Tough to say if he has the ceiling Howard does (who i think is a better natural athlete), but there's TON of upside.
