January 1st 1965. Joe Namath wins the MVP in a loss to Texas 21-17 in the Orange Bowl. That was also Joes last game as a college player....
January 1st 2012... Jets complete an Al Groh like collapse and lose their third straight to close out at 8-8 in a loss to Miami..after making the AFC Title game the previous two years.....Sanchez throws 3 picks and goes 21-32 207yds 2 TD 3 ints..this after Miami had begun the year with seven straight losses...that was the beginning of the unraveling.....

That was the day that I gave up on Sanchez and began to question Rex as a HC. |
