I like him but I agree with jif's analysis in one of the other threads. He's best suited as a 4-3 end. Doesn't seem fluid enough to play OLB. He reminds me a lot of Kony Ealy.
I think he's worthy of a Top 20 pick but I'm not taking him at #6. Same thing goes for a guy like Solomon Thomas.
Only passrusher worth a Top 10 pick to me is Garrett.
That's why I'm pulling for one of the Big 2 from LSU (Fournette/Adams) at #6.

He's a big boy to be playing 3-4 OLB and most of the time he's lined up as a 4-3 end although he does stand up and looks good when he does. What stood out to me me was his get off. It was either great or terrible, with no common ground so I'll lean towards it being good if that is what the defense calls for. I'm also looking at a pass rusher with no pass rush moves as he strictly tries to bend the edge. He's a big fuck no at #6 but overall I like his game and call me crazy but I think he could make the transition to OLB even with his size. Maybe a Lamar Woodley type if he makes the transition to OLB?

I like his strength/technique and ability to dominate at the LOS, but i don't see the burst or endurance to imagine him chasing a QB around in the NFL. Would it be far to say the opposite of Shane Ray? Ray was all motor and relentless pursuit, but he was never going to put a Tackle on his ass.
Less athletic Chris Long?

I'd say more Markus Golden than Shane Ray. Stick him at OLB and I don't think you have much more than what Jordan Jenkins projects to be. A 6-8 sack a year edge setter.

but i don't see the burst I've seen it and it normally happens when he's standing up. Hes not the greatest athlete and the combine will confirm that, but he can get off the line pretty good when asked to. If you watch his tape the lack of burst definitely revolves around the scheme and what his coaches asked of him. He also drops into a zone coverage quite often but doesn't look well versed in it. If he's there in the second he should be a consideration.

* Peculiar looking athlete. He's a bit squat with a belly, he almost reminds me physically of a smaller Sheldon Richardson
* I would not be surprised if his arms measured short at the combine
* Extremely productive in the SEC for 3 years
* His get off is hit or miss in the pass rush
* Pretty flexible at the top of the arc (more flexible than his body type would indicate)
* Good hand fighting in his pass rush, but he is a little one dimensional.
* His bull rush is ok
* Showed some quickness shooting the gaps in run support
* Stout against the run
* He's a good player, but I'm not sure he is physically talented enough to dominate in the pros
* I'd grade him as a late first rounder
Who do you guys want to take a look at next? We can do mid round guys as well.

Maury threw an interesting name out there, Sheldon Richardson. I mos def remember not seeing the athleticism when I watched him, then suddenly he's out there in green and white moving around like a Gibbon.
