I am unclear why these revelations are not bigger news. The "news" media in this country is worthless. I can just imagine the nations newrooms yesterday. The question "Anyone read this Vault 7 stuff from Wikileaks?" was likely met with the response "It's really long and complicated, maybe we should just check Trumps twitter feed for our next lead story." |

And gladly ignored it. Is anyone truly surprised by this? I mean we LOVE this when we have superior technology to spy on other countries....isn't it a bit naive to believe it wouldn't be used domestically? Again, not a fan, but who is really surprised? This is J. Edgar Hoover..with better technology. |

But then it really doesn't? My mentor in the tech industry can't understand why I beat that mapper consistently. There are predictive traffic patterns that never exist to me. What they say is based on relatively old and useless data half the time. BTW I am so tired of people driving with that GPS/smartphone priority. I can see them; making lane changes or other WAY TOO SOON. Stopping betwixt other cars and trucks while they "do what the thing tells them". AGGHGHGHGHGHGHG |

This is a waste of time; citizenry is not subjected to this type of surveillance, as Duke explained So even though the CIA has, apparently, weaponized exploits for Apple's iPhone, Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows and even Samsung TVs, you believe they have the restraint to not use them against US citizens domestically? But some of us havent ignored it, there's just not much we can do about it other than get off the grid. Im not surprised at all the CIA would overreach and illegally monitor domestic US citizenry, Im surprised that some people DONT think they would. Overreach is the name of the game with govt agencies. |
