I'm by no mean a fan of this...but we sort of knew this all along didn't we? And gladly ignored it. Is anyone truly surprised by this? I mean we LOVE this when we have superior technology to spy on other countries....isn't it a bit naive to believe it wouldn't be used domestically? Again, not a fan, but who is really surprised? This is J. Edgar Hoover..with better technology. Surprised they are capable? No. Surprised they are doing it? Yes. I guess I am naive enough to think that the principals that we send young men and woman overseas to die defending would be observed by people who consider themselves patriots. But, in the end, I imagine their attitude is more like Colonel Jessup's than mine... They'll tell you the ends justify the means. |

What is the end game for your average Joe?
