Well, looks like drumpfcare is dead again. Eight fucking years of bitching and the republicans can't seem to get on the same page. Looks like that immediate repeal and replace isn't so easy, huh donny? The snake oil salesman delivering again...

Why not just amend Obamacare? Keep what's good, fix what's broke, instead of the trash everything start over approach? Seems like that may be more successful? Get more on board that way?

I love this line of thinking. I dont blame you or others for feeling this way because you have been lied to and frankly do not understand how Obamacare was designed. The bad parts is what makes the good part possible. And by "possible", I mean viable for a few years bc it will collapse anyway. Can't have one without the other. And you also cannot roll back an entitlement in this country once its given. That is becoming more and more apparent. Wait until Social Security begins to fail. This is peanuts compared to the shit storm that is going to be. Time for it to collapse. That was the plan all along anyways.

More important than Obamacare is the fact that Ryan and McConnell need to be replaced. Trump has been loyal to a fault with these scumbags. They never supported his candidacy and they continue to undermine him by denying him his agenda. They cannot deliver. Time for new leadership in Congress.
Ryan, McConnell, McCain, Flake, Graham, Collins. All have done more to obstruct than any Democrat can ever dream of. Rumors are Trump is supporting a primary challenger to Flake. I would love to see him do the same thing with Ryan. Even better would be a tweet calling for a vote to replace Ryan and McConnell.
None of these losers will ever win a general election. Trump is the only Republican alive capable of that. They were so fixated on resisting Trump and figuring out how they were going to deal with Hillary's presidency that they never considered the possibility they would have all 3 parts. And they still haven't learned how to be winners.

Both parties plans do nothing about it, and are going about the problem all wrong. Enact or enforce current price gouging laws.

Both parties plans do nothing about it, and are going about the problem all wrong. Enact or enforce current price gouging laws. The reason the costs are so high is because of the mandates. Mandates that the Dems who wrote this law put in. They own it. The only thing they could do to lower costs would be to open up the exchanges so they could be sold across state lines. But that change would require 60 votes. And even that would fail eventually. If we have any chance of not ending up with single-payer (which is where I believe this is all heading regardless) it needs to be torn down. But this is Obama's biggest legacy and the Dems will not, under any circumstances, repeal it. And like Chuck Shumer said yesterday. There is a significant portion of the "middle class" that now relies on and receives Medicaid subsidy. Obama gave the working class some of the the sweet gubmint milk and that is impossible to take away now. That was the poison pill.
