Now, i'm not saying they're on equal plains, but for the price youre paying for Howard, and what he can do -- compared to what you're getting from Sprinkle in rounds 3 and 4...
there's a discussion to be had here. Watch the video.

I get the value comparison, BUT sometimes you need to buy name brand high end product. IMO, Howard's speed separates him a bit from Sprinkle. Throw in the fact that Sprinkle seems to lack some common sense off the field and for ME the decision is an easy one.

I am and always have been a big fan of Sprinkle. He also has some nice soft hands to go along with the blocking.

How am I supposed to cheer for a guy when I giggle like a school girl whenever I see his name?

Howard speed and natural ability is definitely a slice above... I question how comfortable he is as a receiver at times I guess. That part is pretty critical when you're talking about 6th overall. That part of his game is "largely assumed" by everyone right now.

Based solely on what I've seen I think his are good enough. He doesn't seem to fight the ball, uses his hands well and generally keeps the ball out of his body. I don't think they scratched the surface with this kid at Alabama, Lane Kiffen loves his WRs and features them almost exclusively in his passing game. Hard to ignore that size and athletic ability, and what you can do with that in the NFL.

These two guys are in completely different realms as far as speed and athleticism goes. Which is why one guy is considered to be a lock 1st round pick, and the other is almost certainly going to be there late in the 3rd if not later.
I like Sprinkle. But he is nowhere near the offensive weapon that OJ Howard is. And part of that is ceiling. OJ Howard has the potential to be the next Gronk. Sprinkle is simply not in that category. But hey, if he turns into Zach Ertz, I'd be happy with that if we got him in the 4th round.

Their receiving skills are a lot closer than you're letting on though. The argument i'd pose is this-- 2 identical teams. Team A drafts Howard in the 1st, and Artavis Scott in the 4th. Team B drafts Williams in the 1st, and Sprinkle in the 4th. Who's going to see more production on Sunday? I don't have to tell you which i would pick... but I'm not on the belief that Howard is Gronk, cause he isn't IMO. I think he's being mis-sold there. Gronk and Graham were much more adept at catching in traffic. I don't think Howard is as comfortable tracking the ball and coming down with it in tight coverage which is part of the reason we didn't see him featured at times. Too much of his production comes on little outs and digs where he's got 5 feet between him and a defender. You guys are sold on the dream and not the reality IMO

Well, personally I am not very high on Williams, lol.
But yeah, I get where you are going.
Let's just say, regardless of OJ Howard's talent level, my pref. would be to take a TE later on in the draft. And if Leggett is there, I would consider him early in the 3rd round.
