I've been saying for awhile he is legit. Great athlete, devastating blocker, great hands. Needs a bit of polish on his routes, but he could be a Pro Bowler. Perfect WCO TE.

Took him late 3rd for the Titans in the Mock Draft
I'm a big fan
Think he's going to start moving further up the boards over the next few weeks.

Interesting player no doubt and would fill a huge need for our team, although we have huge needs everywhere. HawkeyeJet, where do you see him going? Around the same spot as our mock, higher, lower? This is an incredible TE class so it's tough for me to predict.

Originally I thought he'd be a fourth rounder, but I think his blend of athletisicm, blocking and Iowa's recent history at the position(and general production of "pro ready" players) will push him into the 3rd. Likely late third, but potentially mid. Untouchable's landing spot of the Titans is a real interesting one. Would be a nice compliment to Walker and seems like a Munchack type player.

We can't have all this smoke over Shaheen, Everett, Hodges, Kittle, Saubert, etc without some of these guys hanging around in rounds 4-6

I've seen Saubert play. Work out warrior. I wouldn't take him before the 6th. I don't know enough about Everett, and Hodges vs Kittle could be dependent on what a particular team is wanting. If the team wants the more "total" skillset, Kittle might be the pick. If they want the better receiving threat, it likely would be Hodges.

I like Kittle, but I wonder if he is big enough to play as a Y tight end. He could play H back and possibly fit in as well at fullback. Interesting piece in a WCO.

Kittle will not go in the 3rd round. I just don't see it. I think he will go mid 4th to early 5th. There is SO MUCH TE talent in this draft. Teams typically overlook a TEs ability to block in favor of speed, athleticism and offensive prowess. That's just how it is. Kittle has SOME of that but not when you compare him to a lot of other TE prospects in this draft class. This could be a great thing for the Jets b/c they might be able to snag him early in the 5th and it could be a steal.
You never know which team values what player where, but Kittle is probably the 8th or 9th ranked TE in the draft. So it depends. How many TEs will go in every round? If its 3, he could very well be gone by the 4th. If its 2-3 he could stick around till the 5th. I would imagine 2 TEs per round go in the first 3 rounds, with a run of 3 or 4 mixed in (maybe Rd. 3).
Howard Njoku Engram Shaheen Everett Butt Leggett Hodges Sprinkle Smith Hikutini Soubert Roberts
I think its likely Kittle goes somewhere towards the end of that list. Before or after Sprinkle maybe. If the Jets are really high on him maybe they pull the trigger with the last pick in the 3rd, but I doubt it.

Not sure exactly what you mean by 'vast majority' but nonetheless, I'm going to go ahead and disagree.

Do you not pay attention to combine numbers which has tests to measure such things? 3rd in the 40. 6th in the Vert. 3rd in the broad jump. His 3 cone and twent at his pro day stack up in the Top 5 as well. You tell me how many of those TEs can say they essentially tested top 5 across the board in the tests that measure athletisicm.
