China loves her some North Korean guard dogs. I doubt they would sit for the expansion of US influence. I am waiting for Trump to drive a wedge in that relationship but that goal looks dubious

The won't get involved if NK attacks first? Bullshit. Don't believe that for a second. They would spin it as something US did first so they have to get involved.
Would be interested to know what the Chinese military situation is on the NK border right now. Status quo or are they moving more military there.

If NK fires a middle over Japan, why not shoot it down?
1) no assets in place to shoot it down
2) assets in place aren't as good as thought, and can't shoot it down.
Any other options?

OBAMA ran on a platform of global diplomacy and that a "darker skinned" man (his words) in the White House would give the world a more inclusive feeling. Didn't he handle NK? What am I missing? I suppose we could do a Rasmussen poll to decide what to do, thats what the Clintons would do. |
