Where does NK get their uranium for nuclear weapons? I was under the impression uranium wasn't a common naturally occurring element?

How did they get to be a problem? Where'd all their weapons and cash come from? China been backstopping these guys?

^ that's my fear.
Conventional Weapons etc may not be enough.
I can not Fathom, nor do I wish to ever have it reported as fact, that we nuked NK. Getting my head around the first Nuke used since Aug 1945 would be a human nightmare.
However if that little smiling fat fuck uses one against another Nation, glaze them with the heat of the sun...

They know as soon as they do that, it's the end of North Korea.

^ it would be, and then maybe start a chain of launches that essentially ends the human race as we know it.

China gives them a lot, we give them tons of aid that they don't use to feed their people and they use for weapons. They are the ultimate example of a communist dictatorship. Read up on their concentration camps, how the people live, they worship the Kim family. It is absolutely scary how people can be programmed to accept this stuff.

We supposedly have conventional bombs that are stronger than the original nukes. Our current nukes make the WWII nukes look like fire crackers. I assume that if NK has anything that would work, and that is a big question if you look at all the test fires they have done, it would be very small. We don't need to Nuke NK. Honestly nukes would be counter productive because the leadership would go underground before it hit and all we would do is kill their people. I think if we ever did hit them it would be something like a special forces sneak attack or bunker busters leveling the palace and any known bunkers. What we could do is take out a lot of their missile sites with cruise missiles and then fly over with some bombers dropping bunker busters. They wouldn't have a chance. Our anti-missile technology is pretty good too. When I was in desert storm people were worried about the SCUDS that Sadam had. We used to pick them out of the sky with the old Patriot II system. That was 25 years ago, our tech has improved. We have been testing lasers and rail guns. Might be time for a live test.

LOL. They are not a "problem"
Every now and again they lob a bomb into the water.
There are about 100 bigger problems in the world.

I think we would be surprised as to the level we have enabled them to develop an arsenal.
They have nukes. But do they have the tech to launch one across the ocean. The idea is to starve them so we slow their process. The opposite of what we did with Iran.
I wish the US and some allies would come out and say if they ever do a launch that causes a death to someone in another country we will invade immediately, kill everyone in their government, their families, anyone who sympathizes and then give the country to South Korea. Thats the only real fix. Until then we will virtue signal.
