I took a break on posting these, but now that we are closer to the draft and everyone is invested in the board after our draft, let's kick this off again. I'll take any suggestions for players you want me to post.

I don't have a real insightful reason, but I don't want him. I don't think he's as good as people make him out to be. He's more measurables than football and producer.

Nothing's gonna change my view of Howard. He's a great TE prospect, fringe rnd 1 guy. Lots of big play potentially.
However, Gronk he is not. Nor is he Jimmy Graham 2.0. I don't think he's nearly the receiver people make him out to be.

Agreed with the above comments, good player but there are other good tes in this draft we can snag.

My suggestion is do one on mahomes I think we already did but it might be buried in a different thread.

I wouldn't bitch and moan that we finally drafted an offensive player but I'd rather wait until later in the draft to pluck one of these guys. I'm having a hard time drafting a TE at 6th overall.

* Good height and length, he looks like he could fill out even more and add another 10 lbs
* Very good athlete and tested very well at the combine
* Very good YAC ability. He had a long touchdown in each of the last 2 national championship games
* Good hands (I didn't see him drop anything)
* I have no idea about his ability as a downfield threat because Bama didn't use him that way. You can project that he has the ability due to his 40 time and vertical, but it's a guess at this point
* Versatile piece that will make him attractive in today's NFL. Bama used him as a Y tight end, H Back and split him out wide
* Underrated and willing as a blocker
* Had a very strong Senior Bowl where many felt he was the best player
* The worst thing you can say about him is that he did not have gaudy statistics in college and he was not used as a downfield threat; however, I think the blame for this falls on Lane Kiffin and Alabama
* Top 10 pick on a tight end is a little rich for my blood, but this kid is a very good prospect
