I can't say I've watched any of his tape because I think we bypass the QB position this year. He didn't impress me during the senior bowl or the week of practices leading up to it.

no thanks. Don't care.
At this point I fully expect the team to neglect the position draft-wise until 2018.

He's meh. Average arm, inconsistent and sloppy footwork. He takes small choppy steps instead of gliding in the pocket. I actually don't mind that his throwing motion changes, but half the time he throws the ball like a baseball. Combine that with his footwork and it's a mess. Also he throws off his back foot a lot and makes poor decisions when pressured. He should have thrown the ball away a lot more instead up throwing up ducks for jump balls. To me he's a 5th rounder.

while not having the ceiling of some of the others, may have the highest floor. QB is not a place where I want high floor low ceiling players. Thats what gets you wild cards, not championships.

Absolutely. Hopefully we get our guy in 2018 when the draft will be flush with QB's and not waste another pick on a QB this year.

I haven't watched a lot of tape on Peterman yet, but I can't wait until next year when everyone is ripping the 2018 QB class and saying, "2019 looks like the year!"

However, I think we're OK. There's presently no less that 6 intriguing options -- and while yes, chances are that 2-3 may tumble/stay in school -- chances are (also) that 2-3 more QBs will rise in relevancy. Hard to imagine a scenario where everyone sucks both known and unknown.

Not a fan...just sloppy overall mechanics. In the right system he might be like an Alex Smith type QB at best. I actually like Josh Dobbs over Peterman.

I know this is a Peterman thread, but the wonderlic scores for the QBs just leaked. Peterman had the second highest at 33 (Kayaa was at 34). The lowest? Deshaun Watson at 20.
I wanted to pull the trigger on Watson so bad, but there are just too many red flags at this point for me between the interceptions, low throwing velocity and mediocre wonderlic score.
