Saw that, and I get it. But man it was over the top. Dude just seemed a little crazy.....even if I do appreciate him honoring his grandmother. Dude's already expecting to be fined. lol Agreed. He dont give a shit about rules already. I give him 5 years and he and Jamarcus Russel will be in a barbershop at 300 pounds talking about the good ole days.

FWIW, through 3 drafts, Macc has gone defense (and arguably BPA) in the 1st round. Last 2 drafts, he picked an offensive skill position player in the second. Jets also met with Cook at the combine and sent a contingency down to FSU's pro day. Let's cross our fingers and pray we get lucky.
If we get out of this draft with Adams, Dalvin Cook and Sidney Jones, I'm going streaking.

Leonard Williams slips to 6, Adams slips to 6. It's like the universe is trying to make amends for the Gholston pick (also #6). 666 We need to sell our souls to the devil like Namath did.

Adams is a fine prospect and it's tough to pass on a guy like that. However i lament the possible chance to trade down and acquire more draft capital for this year and even more important next year.
I think the Browns and SF is doing it right and we are not doing it right in the long run.

As much as I wanted offense, Adams is a stud so I'm over it.
It's all about tonight for Macc, he needs to knock it out of the park and end this day two nightmare.

Besides, we need a player we can nickname "The President" again.

The two top passrushers were already gone, as was the top QB and RB. I doubt anyone was head over heels with the idea of giving up multiple picks to move up for a Mike Williams or Christian McCaffrey. Maybe they received an offer or two when Adams fell, but judging by what the Jets reportedly told Adams, I would guess they had him at least ranked as one of the Top 3 players in the draft and decided they weren't passing.

Sign me up for Cook - Shaheen - Reynolds today. At the very least, it may dry up some of tears that some folks shed last night.

They're accumulating picks for this year and next, and picking solid players. The Niners, I think, got damn lucky Chicago lost their mind and HAD to have Trubisky at all costs. That same trade, I think, screwed our big chance to trade down. The Jets got phone calls, but probably nothing overwhelming - I bet Adams was effectively the top of their board, at worst top 3, with 1 & 2 off the board already. And SF had better hope Foster's shoulder is ok.

Teams probably weren't looking to trade up to the 6 spot after Trubisky shockingly went #2, a potential deal with Cleveland went up in smoke. The other possibility was KC but it would of taken a lot to get to 6 compared to 10. I can still see a trade down potential here in the second maybe accumulate some extra 3rd and 4th picks. I can also see a potential Sheldon trade and maybe Calvin Pryor for a 5th. We will see tonight.

The whole league is trading up and down every frigin year in the 1st round except for the jets who seemingly get no calls. I don't believe for a minute that we didn't have a legit chance to trade down even if it was not for text book value.
It's going to be painful this time next year staring at some franchise QBs that are just out of reach with not enough ammo to go up and get. Mark my words.

We have a lot of holes. A corner immediately upgrades our secondary over the course of two days.
