I think we will keep Pryor, Maye and Adams are interchangeable so I think this Jet defense will be harder to decipher and Bowles now has the pieces to run his defense like he did in Zona. I think this is thought process behind having 3 safeties with similar skill sets. All can stop the run, cover decently and blitz the qb. Having all three on the field can cause confusion for the offense in identifying the coverage and the blitzer as they are all interchangeable. Add in Lee and the safety picks look even better as we have an insane amount of speed across the middle of the field and should have no trouble stopping TE's and small dump off routes over the middle which has been a crux of this defense since 09. We're not playing 3 safeties. I don't see that working in the NFL. You'd have to be running a Hybrid Freak at LB/SS and we don't have that at all. It's not about making tackles, those teams will just send a Guard out the back of the play and completely blow up that Safety for a solid 5-6 yards per run or more. I think when teams really wanted to run on the Jets they did it easily. But since we had absolutely no pass defense because of those brilliant Todd Blowes schemes and because of his awesome hand picked players playing great I'd say don't expect things to change much. |

With all the great moves by the Browns, the Jets now have the worst roster in the NFL. I hate the picks but not because I think Adams isn't gonna be a good Safety. And Maye looked more like a ball hawk than Adams. They approach the position differently IMO. Not sure what you're trying to do but your trolling is fucking terrible. I don't think you're the real Tx. So why do I hate Safety being drafted that high? Because the NFL phased them out of the game 2 years ago. You can't even cleanly hit hard in the Safe Space NFL these days. Run by fucking globalist agenda driven liberals, they have ruined and emasculated the NFL. They want it to be appealing to women and gays. Good luck. This is why the NFL is having an all time low in viewership and ESPN is losing money. Men, you know the people who actually like sports because WE ARE SPORTS, don't want to watch this pussy shit anymore. And that's exactly why you don't draft a player like this anymore. You're not allowed to play defense. This is not 2004. You draft a killer OLine and some WRs and you out score the opponent. That's how you win anymore. Unless the refs are in your pocket then you're the NE Fagtriots and who gives a shit what you do, the Refs are gonna give you everything you need and you're buddy Goodell is gonna let you cheat your way to 5 titles while the bought and paid for media tries to tell everyone to stop being mean to Tom Brady and that he's the best EVAH!!! Guess what, he isn't.
