Not to mention that Buffalo picked up an additional first rounder that they can offer in a trade. It's going to be tough to get one of the top 3 guys. Not if you have a top 3 pick already.

Does anyone know if there's a list of Total Draft Points for 2018? Using the Trade Value Chart is there a way to rank teams who have the most total points if you simply assumed, for sake of evaluation, that teams would finish the same in 2017 as they did in 2016? That would be the clearest way to at least guesstimate which teams will be in the best position Draft-wise in 2018.

If we have the worst record there is no one, no matter how many 1st 2nd and 3rd round pics they have, that can jump ahead of us. _

I think the concern is we scrounge one too many wins... One would be too many. We cannot win a single game this year. We cannot risk the chance that someone else goes 0-16 and with a tougher strength of schedule drafts ahead of us. We must have the pick of the litter next year. _

We must have the pick of the litter next year. _ Where are the wins??? 2017 New York Jets Schedule 9/10 Jets @ Bills 9/17 Jets @ Raiders 9/24 Jets vs Dolphins 10/1 Jets vs Jaguars 10/8 @ Browns 10/15 Jets vs Patriots 10/22 @ Dolphins 10/29 Jets vs Falcons 11/2 Jets vs Bills 8:25 PM 11/12 @ Buccaneers 1:00 PM 11/26 Jets vs Panthers 1:00 PM 12/3 Jets vs Chiefs 1:00 PM 12/10 @ Broncos 4:05 PM 12/17 @ Saints 1:00 PM 12/24 Jets vs Chargers 1:00 PM 12/31 Jets @ Patriots 1:00 PM The MOST winnable games for the Jets are early on vs. Dolphins, Jags, and Browns. But, as early season games, the opponents will not yet be mired in a terrible season, so there will be no "give up" on the field. Plus, the Jags with Marrone at HC and Coughlin in the background will be much improved. The Dolphins have a ton more talent than the Jets. And the Browns have the Jet game circled as a win. They will lay it all on the line to win that game because they are tired of being viewed as the worst franchise and want to give the Jets that title. If the Jets win, can we really believe they will win an Away game? Most of their Away games are at very tough places to play. Honestly, unless a team on the Jets second half schedule is in the midst of an injury riddled disastrous season, I can't find even one win on the schedule.

Yeah....plus....I think the Browns and the Jags are going to be better this year than last. In fact, if I was in Vegas I would put money on the Jags and Browns winning more than 5 games and the Jets winning 3 or less.
I also like the fact that we get the Jags and Browns early...they'll still be playing for something while we're in tank mode.

Garrapolo is better than whoever will be QBing the Jets. And BB is not noted for resting players. Plus they'll likely have the bye week to rest anyway.

0-15 going into the last game of the season, Pats have it locked up, rest Brady, Gronk, etc... Garrapolo is better than whoever will be QBing the Jets. And BB is not noted for resting players. Plus they'll likely have the bye week to rest anyway. Thats all true. I just thought it would ironic, and painful, if the Jets won the last game of the season against the Pats to blow the #1 pick.
