* Good size and sturdy frame
* Athletic and able to pick up yards on his feet
* Fast mental processor, has an impressive ability to work through reads for such a young player
* Arm seems solid enough, although you don't see many throws where he really has to test it
* He is a little frantic in the pocket and starts to bail earlier than he should, this is a part of his game that I would like to see improvement in
* He has a REALLY long release, Leftwhich-esque. This affects his accuracy and could lead to problems in the pros
* HIs accuracy can get a little spotty, but I think its due to his release
* His ability to improvise and make plays when things break down is really impressive, he does a nice job of keeping his eyes downfield and making impressive throws, reminds me a little bit of Aaron Rodgers in this regard

That motion is weird, though looks fast. Wonder how it clocks.
Allen's motion is so effortless, looks like Rodgers.

Another USC QB... the track record for these guys is abysmal.

Another USC QB... the track record for these guys is abysmal. The track record for Tennessee QB's is not good, but Peyton Manning came from there. What about Pitt? They ever produce anyone other than Marino? Syracuse... McNabb and who else? You evaluate the QB, not the school.

Darnold is very similar to Jameis Winston IMO. They have similar throwing motions and can vary their deliveries. Like Winston, Darnold, if he comes out in 2018 will be very young. He is still 19 and won't turn 20 till December. Both red shirted and both will have had 2 years starting experience.

The history of the players coming out of a particular school is irrelevant. If we're drafting number 1, Darnold kills it this year and we pass in him because, you know, USC QB? My head will explode. _
