i saw that...was was mildly surprised that he defended Coulters right to speak... I saw it live too. I was expecting an angry, shrill lib diatribe from a Hollywood man/queen..but he was quite informed, logical and really not political per se. I think Tucker was shocked as well, even if he didnt agree with Dreyfuss's assertions re: witholding funds from Sanctuary States (I hate even typing that made-up concept). Seemed like he'd be a great guest in the future and Tucker asked him back. |

Richard Dreyfus is a big US history nerd. My old man took me to Gettysburg when I was a kid. He wanted the full experience for me so he hired a private tour guide. She asked how detailed we wanted it and my father said "Don't skip anything." The tour lasted the entire day and we saw it all and heard it all, every little detail from this lady's head. It was a moving experience. Near the end, my father asked "Have you ever had a tourist know something that you didn't?" She answered, right away, "Richard Dreyfus knows more about Gettysburg than any of us guides, but he's always nice about it." It was, and still is, the most in-depth tour I've ever been on and I would use the battle for any paper I would ever have to write for a history class.
