* Tall with a thin frame that could stand to add a couple of pounds
* Plays in a pro style offense and takes snaps under center
* Able to work progressions and will hit his 3rd or 4th read
* Clean and consistent mechanics, quick release comes right over the top
* Not a threat to pick up major yards on the ground consistently, but has enough mobility to move around in the pocket and is very good on designed roll outs
* Has enough arm strength, but it's nothing special. His deep throws tend to float on him
* Very accurate in the short to intermediate range, but his deep accuracy is average (at best)
* He's accurate on back shoulder throws to the sideline
* Chucks some ill advised throws when he gets pressured
* I like Rosen. He's very surgical as a QB and reminds me of Matt Ryan (which is a good thing). There are rumors about off field concerns with him.

i watched the A&M game last night from 2016. Forgot how awesome the upside is with Rosen... everything is there, right down to NFL footwork and throwing mechanics. It's all about coaching and mentorship with Josh. If he's a gamer, I would expect to come out this year and play lights out.

Big year for Rosen coming back from shoulder surgery. All reports are that he is fully recovered and ready to go.
His off field "issues" stem from being a well to do rich kid doesn't need football as a ticket to "get out of" whatever situation he is in. He's been banging a lot of chicks in Southern California, as most USC and UCLA QBs do, he put a hot tub in his dorm at UCLA and took pictures with several different women in it with him ( good for him by the way). He's very cocky which puts some people off but, has a high football IQ and works at the game.

Very Jet-like ending to that Stanford game. How long did he need to wind up to even come close to reaching the end zone. Seems like he's our guy.  |

very talented player. Doesn't have a rocket arm, but plenty strong enough. Looks very accurate throwing to the middle of the field and to his right. While watching the highlights...his body type, his release, I gotta say ... he reminds me of Kenny O'Brien.
