* Going to be a senior when he enters the draft with 3 years of starting experience
* Over a 3-1 TD/INT ratio along with over a 60% completion percentage
* Very tall at 6'5" with a solid build at 235 lbs
* Athletic for his size. Not quite as mobile as Josh Allen, but Rudolph is capable of moving around in the pocket, making good throws on the run and picking up yards when he needs to
* Very good arm strength, can drive the ball downfield and to the sidelines
* Solid accuracy to all level of the fields (throws a nice 9 route)
* Shows very good touch and can drop the ball in the intermediate and deep parts of the field
* Generally does a good job under pressure, but he will duck his head at times and look to start running
* Shows some ability to work through his progressions, but needs to be more consistent about it
* Biggest negative with this kid is that he plays in the air raid. If he played in a more pro style offense, I think he is in the discussion with the big 3 to go number one overall
* An underappreciated prospect who has a relatively high floor and very good tools
* A very rich man's Bryce Petty

This is one prospect I have no clue about. Give me some time and I'll break him down. Whatever you do, don't start a breakdown on Jake Browning because he's pure garbage.

Browning is a back up at the NFL level and there aren't any other QBs I'm too interested in right now. Maybe I'll do a Lamar Jackson video in season.

I decided to add this video too because I though the accuracy he shows here is damn impressive. Honestly, I think he may be the safest option at QB next year. Dude can play.

Dude can play. he looks very mechanical...didn't see him throw deep and the clapping thing gotta go...it's a timing device that the NFL will eat him up on...will keep an eye on him this fall...

Watch the other 2 games, the guy throws the deep ball very often. I don't love the clapping, but I had the same concerns about Derek Carr coming out of Fresno and he seemed to overcome that.

He looks great in that system, good arm and accuracy. But no snaps from under center and doesn't look to be making a progression of reads.

There are some examples of Rudolph working through reads, but its not consistent.

This kid was somewhat off of my radar despite the impressive numbers. After watching those two tapes I'm a big fan. Big kid with a strong accurate arm that shows some pocket presence. Nice release point with velocity. Throws a great out and is accurate deep down the sidelines. What I don't see is the tight window throws in the middle of the field. Like most prospects he'll get sloppy and throw up a gimme ball here and there. The million dollar question is can he read a NFL defense?

But no snaps from under center and doesn't look to be making a progression of reads. This is a valid consideration but the college game has evolved so much in the last ten years that most QB's now play in this style of an offense.

He looks great in that system, good arm and accuracy. But no snaps from under center and doesn't look to be making a progression of reads. IMO the whole no snaps under center thing is one of the most over blown critiques of a college QB. First, it's not hard to take snaps under center, it's pretty simple. Two, the majority of snaps in the NFL are taken from the gun anyway, so for me it's a non factor. As as far as reading defenses go, you will never really know what a kid will do until he is under fire in NFL games. They never face defenses nearly as complex in college as they do in the NFL. Its become critical to have the right QB coach and OC in place to develop these QBs today.

Its become critical to have the right QB coach and OC in place to develop these QBs today. +1 It would probably take one full season for him to learn the basic setup under Center (if he doesn't know it already from high school, etc.) and to competently execute a 3-step and 5-step drop. A smaller playbook in Year 1 where maybe he's 60/40 in terms of Shotgun/Under Center would work as he gets his footwork and timing down. There are 3 key things when operating under center.....getting the snap cleanly so that you're not looking down at your hands, a precise drop (3, 5, etc.) and quick recognition (doing the drop back with your head up and already diagnosing the passrush and any route mismatches you may have going....like your WR1 getting a clean release or a CB slipping). It just takes time. I'd be shocked if a guy like Rudolph couldn't learn to operate under center within a year.
