draftanalyst.com/2018-nfl-mock-draft1) New York Jets - Josh Allen/QB/Wyoming: I'm told the New York Jets believe they can win five games this season, which means a two- or three-win season could be on the way. Allen was dominant in the middle of 2016 and I expect him to improve this season. I've never hidden my affection for Allen as a next level prospect nor my belief that he's the best pick for the Jets. A September 2 matchup in Iowa City against the Hawkeyes could set the tone for Allen.

Honestly I feel like Lamar Jackson is also criminally overlooked as well. He is twice the playmaker on his feet Watson was, and twice the passer. That latter part of is game is very underrated. He throws with natural precision and decent anticipation. I'm not surprised he gassed at the end of the year last season - as that train was going full throttle (completely on his shoulders) for too long.
With a good OC and competent offense - sky's the limit IMO

We're are going to have A LOT of options to choose from at QB. This might be shades of the 83 draft. (the people who think Tribusky made a mistake coming out this year are crazy. He'd be a 4th round pick next year) Macc is probably already feeling the pressure to pick the right one.

Kid probably made himself a few million dollars extra by coming out in this weak QB class.

Trubisky absolutely made the right financial decision coming out this year... no way does he go second in 2018. He might not have gone first round next year

I think he is going to be very injury prone in the NFL ala RG3. Jackson has a ton of ability.

I'll see Allen in Person come September.
I believe he's the best QB in next years draft. We will see. Hawkeyes will be breaking in 3 new secondary starters.

We expect an in depth scouting report I'll be pretty drunk:). May have to rely on my DVR to get a scouting report. That said, my tickets are endzone tickets. Have been forever. Much prefer it that way. Way better look at what is going on, especially for QB play.

I might make the drive out there for that one myself. Holiday weekend, kick off the season, chance to see Allen, and it won't set me back $500 per ticket like the Notre Dame - UGA game the following week. Might have to see if my son is willing to meet me in Iowa City.
