I'll see Allen in Person come September. I believe he's the best QB in next years draft. We will see. Hawkeyes will be breaking in 3 new secondary starters. I might make the drive out there for that one myself. Holiday weekend, kick off the season, chance to see Allen, and it won't set me back $500 per ticket like the Notre Dame - UGA game the following week. Might have to see if my son is willing to meet me in Iowa City. Iowa City is a great place to watch a game if you haven't been. People will treat you like a lifetime Iowan, tailgaiting is great, Kinnick is nice. I am biased, but the game Day experience in Iowa City gets high marks from not just us Hawkeyes

Are we at all concerned that he is from a relatively small school? Or is that archaic thinking?

Are we at all concerned that he is from a relatively small school? Or is that archaic thinking? To be honest, I actually view it as a positive. I think it shows better how talented he really is, where as guys like Darnold or Rosen might be propped up slightly by great talent around them. I'm not saying that's the case with those 2, but I kind of like the small school QB.
