Switching back and forth, Falk does not look good.

A kid like Rosen would be a nice consolation prize but his immaturity off the field and some scouts questioning his love for the game does scare me a bit. I don't know how anyone can question his love for the game. I've read a few articles about him and he loves the game and wants to be the best.....how could anyone question that after last week? He's a gamer. Go Bills!!! It may be a bunch of bullshit Joel Klatt was going on about it on Colin Cowherd's show the other day. Not sure how reliable his sources are though.

Draft the Guard from Washington State O'Connell.
6-9 360.
And their LB Hercules Mata-Afa.

This is the worst I've ever seen Falk.
Missed a bunch of guys with passes he typically makes with ease and he's under thrown most of his deep passes.
Mostly check downs and screens.
Pretty disappointing.

Watched Darnold tonight and he looked very good. Smooth and in command. 4 tds, 2 pics in big win over Stanford. Hawaii isnt much opposition but Rosen was ridiculous five tds on 22 of 25 or something...
Watching Falk on espn now and while i know zilch about this stuff....its mostly dink and dunk and single read.[update] falk just got benched! Looks temporary, psych up thing but def playing below his standard.
[2nd update] Falk came back in, but looked psyched out, got absolutely crushed on a sack with his head bouncing on the turf - looked like he hurt his neck or something - and didnt return. His back led a 20 point come back.

Got family visiting today, have to catch up on this later... Got to watch LJ this morning. Thought he looked great. Saw a couple of you comment on his inconsistency.. and i think it's blown out of proportion. He's doing the right things from a vision/decision making IMO Rudolph... was more rudolph. I saw Falk throw a pick. Bit of a sloppy game there. Haven't watched Darnold yet, got it tapped. Looking forward to it. I watched Jackson this AM. I did not think he was nearly as good as his stat line would indicate. Made some incredible plays and some great throws, that 75 yard TD he throw after avoiding the rush, keeping his eyes downfield and dropping a dime to the receiver in stride 50 yards down the field was a thing of beauty. Awesome. But I also thought he left quite a few plays on the field today. He was inconsistent and missed quite a few easy throws -- even one of his TDs today, tight end was wide open up the seam, and Jackson threw it behind him, forcing him to make a circus catch reaching back for the ball. Inconsistent. NOt saying he should not be in the conversation for the Jets, just don't think he was as good as the stat line would indicate. As for the other QBs, I was watching the Dawgs edge the Irish this evening while the other guys were playing. Definitely not a game to watch for the QBs. Really thought our speed off the edge gave Mcglinchey a lot of trouble in pass protection.

I watched GA v. ND so I could see WImbush play for Notre Dame (he played at my old high school). I thought he looked OK.
Darnold has some innate abilities that you cannot teach: his ability to stay calm in the pocket, buy time, then find the open receiver is impressive. Also, his ability to throw people open is special, you could see it on his second and 4th touchdown.
I'd be happy as a pig in shit with either Rosen or Darnold. My concern with Rosen has nothing to do with the off field stuff, but I have some durability concerns with him as he has already dealt with knee and shoulder issues. Darnold is a more well built prospect.

I still want Darnold over Rosen right now and for that to happen the Jets need to have the first overall pick. Let's face it, if the Jets are not drafting 1 or 2 they are not going to get one of these two kids.
